Monument1469B Mini Snake Barbed Drain Unclogger

I usually forget to write reviews but this product is so good I HAD to share it. I nearly didnt buy it, it was a bit of a whim as my shower drain was running a bit slow. I had lifted out the plug and cleared all I could but wondered if there was more down there. I have very long hair so it does tend to cause trouble.This arrived this morning and was very well packaged.It was so simple and easy to use and as it's 1 piece I wasn't scared anything would fall off or get stuck down my drain (as I've read reviews of other products that can). It slid in easily and stopped after a couple of inches. I gave 1 twist & it felt tight (as the hair wrapped round it) then I pulled it back and THE BIGGEST clump of hair I've ever seen came out! It stank of stagnant water and old soap. It must've been down there quite some time as although I clean the plug regularly I've never thought to clean further down.Needless to say my drain is now running freely and I am ecstatic! For such a cheap item it was amazing. I will definitely be using it regularly to keep things clean in future. I'm so glad I tried this before putting any horrible chemicals down my drain and an so pleased that such a simple item worked so well! I'll be buying 1 for my sister and recommending to everyone!

Very well packaged. Arrived promptly. As described. Very happy with item.Tried item as soon as it arrived and brought up a mass of hair old conditioner that was otherwise unreachable! Gross but satisfying.Drain now clears much quicker with no build up of water round our feet.

Not the best quality but does the job well enough, especially for the price. I'd take a photo of it in use.. But no-one wants to see what it found!!

It does the job but the barbes could be smaller, having trouble to pull back out of plughole. Had a flexible snake before which works a lot better.
