I like that I could tell the difference instantly between the crappy hooks you get in multi kits and these. They shine bright and feel heavier. They do bend easy, so I'm not sure I like that. Haven't broken one yet but I'm a beginner and have broken the lesser brands in the past. I'm going to try their gold option, because this set was exactly what i needed, and review that as well.

This is a very nice set of gold-tone earring hooks. These are the ones with the tiny ball already on its base – always a nice addition. The “gold” is a very pretty color – correct of “real” gold. Each hook appears to be sturdy enough for most expectations but not heavy, at all. The set was sent with an adequate number of silicone backs – the listing called them “safety back stoppers” – and a VERY SMALL jewelry cleaning cloth. The backs were in their own separate zip lock bag and that bag along with the loose hooks were in a small hard plastic case (good feature); then, the case and cloth were all in another zip lock bag. NICE CONFIGURATION FOR SHIPPING. I do not have any allergies nor do I ever really, necessarily, worry about metallic content when I am buying jewelry making materials. If that is a concern, please read the info provided in the listing very carefully. Judging from the price point, these are for d-i-y, fashion jewelry making and the metallic content may be very inexpensive and widely available.

I make handcrafted jewelry that's a side business mainly earrings, and I prefer to buy these hooks because you don't know the people's sensitivities to metal, and I would prefer to buy 10 or 14 carat gold plated. Over Sterling silver hooks or even the Sterling silver hooks that Amazon offers, they are very inexpensive.😊👍👏 Compare to the stainless steel hooks, the cheap ones that most people use because they tarnish easily, and they look God awful, and I don't know why most people don't know about these hooks.🤔They're so cheap. They're not much more expensive than the cheap ones that people buy from the cheap stores like Walmart. 🤑I'm just being honest. You can get like a 100 pack of these, which is 50 pairs of earrings for about 10 bucks.💰 When you go to Walmart, you can get 50 pairs of the cheap things for like 5 bucks, so spend 5 bucks more on the better qualit and upcharge your earrings.💲 A dollar or 2 more for better quality metal. So you're not giving people s***** earrings and uh, perhaps they have a sensitivity to s***** metal. That's all I gotta say peace out homies✌️😎

These are so beautiful, smooth and shiny, and sturdy. I hope I can find them in silver with the same quality. I will buy more.
