A fantastic first book in the Eidolon series, a spin off from the Fortis series - which I recommend you read first, I am guessing the timeline for this book is after book 8 of the Fortis series. Both series are available on Kindle Unlimited and book one of Fortis is a free download...what more can you ask for?

As a fan of the Fortis series by Maddie Wade, I expected to like this book. I did not however expect to be astounded by it and I really am! An amazing first book in the Eidolon series. Alex is full of action and adventure but oh so much more. Having been separated for many years Alex and Evelyn are brought back together when there is a threat to Evelyn’s life. Alex is determined that nobody will harm her but can he and Evelyn find their happy ever after or are they destined to remain apart? This book has such a unique, fresh feel to it, it’s definitely a series I will be following. An easy 5 stars!

This is a great read the story is very good,page Turner ,no house work done yet again, well done Maddie so looking forward to the next book,sorry no spoilers

Choppy.Far fetched.Gave me headache.Not luring me with traitor cliffhanger.... That chapter was all wrong and just stuffed into try and make you read on.Its a no from me.

I love the boys of Eidolon and getting to read each of their stories and background and the crossover with fortis is exciting. Alex’s story had it all the action the drama the love I can’t wait to read more from this series and highly recommend to others as a must read author and series.
