Good price and well made.
I have used this cookware. It is very nice looking, heavy enough to retain heat, lids fit well. The inside finish is more like a brushed finish, unlike farberware I had in the '70's. They clean up well. Food doesn't necessarily stick, but the inside of two of the pans I've used have discolored on the inside after cooking meat.I had some very expensive waterless stainless steel cookware that also discolored from cooking beans and also spaghetti sauce. They were more polished on the inside too.The discoloration doesn't bother me. It doesn't effect the results of the finished item cooked. These new pans seem to be well made, they are heavier than other cookware I looked at before I bought this. I like the fact that it can go into the oven (even the glass lids to a lower degree than the pans).I do like to see things I buy. See, touch, feel, feel the weight, texture etc., but for the price, I took a chance. I knew if I didn't care for the set that I could easily return it to Amazon. This set came at an excellent price. It does a very good job, it's nice looking and well made.I'm happy with my purchase. The discoloration doesn't bother me. It happens sometimes. Doesn't effect the outcome of the meal. Chemical reactions can occur with any cookware. So, for the price, I'm just going to use and enjoy this cookware.I like the 1 and 2-quart pots and lids. I'm hoping I can find a 3-quart pot with lid to match. There is a 3-quart deep skillet with lid included in the set. I haven't used it or the 5-qt. stock pot with lid yet.

Quality Goods
I purchased this set of millennium stainless steel nonstick cookware to update/supplement my existing cookware, which had dwindled down to the last several pieces remaining from the same exact 10 piece Farberware set of the same variety, given to me over two decades ago as a housewarming gift for my first place when I moved away from home after graduating high school. Honestly, the only reasons I needed to replace components of the first set can be boiled down to youth and inexperience: some pieces were lost and one piece was damaged by the kind of abuse that a pan could only suffer at the hands of an unsupervised novice cook.My new set arrived glistening, well-packed, in pristine condition, and ready for action. Very little has changed in the design over 20 years, which means the new set can be easily blended with old; the old lids fit the new pans perfectly and vice versa. Faberware’s consistency also rings true for quality, as each piece is thoughtfully designed, well-constructed from solid materials, cooks evenly, cleans-up with ease, and displays nicely when in use and when racked. Guests who watch me cook almost always compliment my pans and those who use the pans themselves compliment them without fail.Addressing common complaints from negative reviews, these are like any other objects one can own - they require proper care for longevity. Read the instructions and warnings that come in the box. Common sense and I both recommend hand washing with soft sponge/dishrag only (no Brillo, etc), towel drying. Because low cupboards are places where so much is stored but so little patience is afforded, storing cookware on a rack is a great way to avoid clutter from banging them up. Also, despite what the video may say, metal utensils should never be used with nonstick cookware. This is a beautiful investment for any kitchen and a practical choice for every day use. Seeing my new and old pieces side-by-side shows how very well these pots, pans, and lids stand the test of time and explains why I’m unlikely to ever need to purchase another set of cookware for domestic purposes again. Highly satisfied.

Beautiful high end look for much smaller price.
I love these. I had been looking for a stainless set with a good nonstick and NO plastic (on handles, etc). Partly so the little-used pieces from a prior stainless/nonstick set (different brand) would still somewhat match, but mostly because I find the look classic so it never goes out of style. I also can't stand exteriors that can't take a good scrubbing or interiors that food sticks to and stains. Once I saw The Farberware Millennium set, I kept looking at reviews for it and it consistently got very high ratings on any site I looked. I decided this was the set for me and got a very good price on Amazon. Both the interior and exterior are very easy to care for. I can't say anything bad about them. I expect this set to last me many many years and never go out of style.Update: I've now had this set about a year, and I absolutely love it. Although they state you can put them in the dishwasher, there are some items I've learned to NEVER put in a D/W -- nonstick cookware and knives, besides things that will obviously melt or state not to. The harsh dishwasher detergent will "kill" a nonstick surface over time. The purpose of nonstick to make cleanup easy, and this is truly a swish with a sponge in warm soapy water, so there is very little time spent, and the dishwasher has much more room for plates, bakeware, etc. They are as shiny and nonstick as the day I got them. I also make sure to follow the instructions and not heat the pans on a high heat -- they cook just great at a lower setting while preserving the nonstick surface. My husband and I use the small skillets for breakfast every day, and the one from an old (non-Farberware) set started peeling so we were down to only one. I got a Cuisinart skillet the same size, but no comparison, have now ordered another Farberware Millenium one. The price on that one piece was 1/3 of the cost of this 10-piece set! If you are wanting a stainless NONSTICK set, this one is EXCELLENT for the price!!!
