Winsome Wood Dylan Snack Table Teak

I DO Not Recommend this table set.The box arrived damaged on the front. The back of the box was not damaged. The last table I removed, that was facing the undamaged side of the box, was scratched. It could not have been damaged in transit and had to have been scratched prior to packaging at the manufacturer. Two of the tables are difficult to close because the rivets that serve as a hinge on the legs are sticking out too far. It was impossible to fold the table legs in without damaging the arm. The leg fit is so poor that the end of the table leg that swings out is gouging the underside of the table when it is folded. See the photos.While assembling the stand I found the holes for the dowels either very tight or very loose. I used copious amounts of wood glue to compensate. Although I would have added wood glue anyway just to ensure it is as solid as can be. I'll need to do something about those rivets sticking out, I'm just not sure how to go about it. We were looking forward to getting these new tables but ended up very, very disappointed. The manufacturer has no quality control. They ship out damaged goods. The construction does not meet the minimum standards you would expect at the price they charge.

These snack table or as they were once called TV Trays are beautiful. They arrived on time, they are super heavy and look great. I believe they are Teak. The stand was easy to put together. I would highly recommend them

The Winsome Wood Dylan 5-PC Oversize Snack Table Set arrived in excellent condition. No scratches, blemishes or gouges. Other reviews indicated the stand was not sturdy, and had to be tightened after use. To prevent that problem, I followed a suggestion by another reviewer and applied carpenters glue on the joints before screwing the stand together. The stand is now very solid and trust the joints becoming loose will not be a problem. I highly recommend these tables, providing ample time is taken in assembling the stand, not rushing and gluing all the joints before inserting the screws.

I love the tables because they are very practical, easy to move, so useful for all kinds of things ranging from eating to temporarily working with a lap top.The tables look great in my decor.The only inconvenience was the assembling of the supporting frame: I could assemble the pieces but I found it difficult to tighten the screws. The whole structure and tables are a little heavy but individually the tables are light.

The tables look really nice with a deep colour, which is what I was looking for. I’m using one for everyday and keeping the others for use in my office, where they will look professional. I do find that the one I’m using everyday is getting marked up fairly quickly even though I try to be careful and use a coaster. Fingerprints show up pretty quickly and I find it hard to get the table back in the stand but my husband has no problem with it. All in all I am very happy with them.
