When "Not Guilty" can be the scariest two words you hear.
It's an interesting concept. The Krays trial re-imagined. It makes you wonder if, behind the scenes, any of this really happened....And if it didn't, why didn't it?And although you know what the ending is to the story, do you?Written in a fast-paced style, it is quite unlike a Kray book as you can read yet with every bit of Kray knowledge you have read. There is a film here somewhere. Now, who has Guy Ritchie's phone number?

Good story idea
Like the idea of the story, however, the book has not been proof read or edited.

A 'What If' book - with an odd imagination.
Interesting book - but I'm happy that Justice won in reality, and those two creeps (and their gang) were sent down for many years. There Fan Club would disagree, but what's so brave about murdering a totally stoned/drunk man (McVitie) with a posse of men assisting them - Nipper Read deserves a Medal for his Job. And also for getting their 'cousin' to grass on them LOL.As for the storyline of Mad Frankie Fraser being 'a hitman against the krays', this is laughable. He was not a good shot, and his forte was pliers, axes, etc. Another thing, Fraser was too unsubtle to do a job which required intelligence/planning/etc - he was just a Over Emotional Thug, who was in Prison during the Kray Trials. One person who really would of got the Krays in reality was Fred Foreman aka Brown Bread. He in the Underworld is thought of as The Real Deal, and right now, he curses the time he met those two.

An okay read
Had some trouble with the format of this book, but it's okay for a fantastical version of history.
