Excellent story line
This book caught and kept my attention from the very beginning. It was a really interesting read. If you like a little suspense and mystery, this book has both for sure.

AHHHH OMG THE BEST BOOK
Ok so this isn’t my typical genre of book, but then again I don’t even know what genre this would fit under lol. I will say the book itself has a trigger warning, and if you have experienced certain traumas you may want to steer clear.. but it’s so darkly “romantic” and there are LOTS of spice scenes , and the authors description of these “spicy” scenes , are like nothing I have ever read . VERY steamy and could offend some. But if you like a little kink lol you won’t be offended , you will be begging your husband for punishment at bed time . Lol but anyways great read! I finished in two days . This is a series and although Amazon does not carry the brother in paperback form, audible has the book and I followed up with the series immediately after reading this book. Audible is a different ball game and the reader is horrible so try and find the paper book for the entire series , I was able to get the girl from Amazon . But anyways read the tutor series !!! You wont regret it!

Hold on tight, The Tutor will keep you on your toes!!
You want twisted, look no further than The Tutor. Holy smokes, what a wild and insanely great ride. A story that is as disturbed as it is heartbreaking. I fell easily into the rhythm of Nora's journey with the multiple POV's and short chapters. At first it seems almost unbelievable that someone as smart as she would take a job in a remote location with a total stranger just to make extra money for college tuition. However, as the story unfolds and we get a glimpse into not only Nora's world but that of her employer's, it all becomes crystal clear. And right along with our heroine, we become just as desperate to survive and want all the answers that only Holden Douglas can provide.I was on the edge of my seat with each turn of the page. This is clearly not for the faint of heart and the warning at the very start should be heeded. Getting so wrapped up in all things Holden was not that far-fetched. Nora understood him, despite the way he could turn on a dime and want to hurt both she and Lotte. The younger girl who was under Nora's tutelage was a true highlight. I loved the way she could keep calm and think things through. She showed true maturity and as much as she was lucky to have Nora, Nora was just a fortunate to have her. There are some less than pleasant scenes involving Holden's 'art' yet I couldn't help but feel for him, since his mother truly did a number on him when he was a child. He just wanted some love in his life and sadly, he simply went about it the wrong way, not realizing that holding women prisoner would never make them want him. Or did it? Nora is definitely different and may just be the salvation Holden craves. The Tutor is clearly a book that will have your stomach in knots more than once and you'll be hard pressed to guess how it might all turn out. The epilogue hints at more to come and I, for one, look forward to getting more of Nora's story and the multitude of characters who have become important to her.A book that will keep you riveted right from the start, I am happy to give The Tutor a solid 4.5 stars!

Only Ever You
Only Ever You. Those last words left me feeling drained and out of breath. I don't think I've ever read a story quite like this and I'm not sure what to do with all the feels I've got going on. I'm emotionally drained from the roller coaster ride this story took me on.Nora suffers through an event that pushes her to apply for an out of town job to earn money for college. She accepts a job as a tutor working for a good looking guy named Holden and his younger sister Charlotte. She lives with them in their cabin deep in the woods with none of the amenities people are today used to. When it's time to leave, Nora is held captive. She and Charlotte escape, but are in an accident. When Nora wakes up, Charlotte is gone. The Tutor is a dark, romantic suspense of the re-telling of Nora's story and the events that happened in an effort to try and locate Charlotte before it's too late.Gah! This story hooked me from the very first page and kept me completely captivated and on the edge of my seat. My emotions were all over the place and I could never tie down how I felt about certain events. You cannot help but sympathize with Nora and I completely understood her feelings. I mean come on, I felt the same way! Love/hate; happiness/sorrow; heartache; loss; all were such raw emotions. I was right there in that cabin experiencing everything these characters did.I noticed a couple of reviewers complained about the number of different POVs; however I had no problem distinguishing who the speaker was while reading. Each chapter states who the POV is from and to me it was always clear. Besides, the story needed to be told the way it was in order to grasp the entire picture and to understand the events and feelings. At the end of the story there's a little sneak peak at what we can expect next from KL. I cannot wait.

Fantastic!!
What a fantastic story. I loved not knowing what the hell was going to happen next. It was very suspenseful throughout and I was hooked.Nora has found a dream job tutoring an 11 year old girl for the summer. It is perfect timing as she could really do with getting away from it all for a few months. It's well paid and exactly what she needs right now.The only downside is it's very secluded with no electricity or running water. But Nora sees it as an adventure, she can totally do this it's only a few months... right? However when the three months are up Nora finds out the job she applied for was a permanent position and she's not allowed to leave.Just what has the handsome man who hired her got planned. This is one job Nora will wish she hadn't applied for when the Mans intentions become clear.OMFG!!! Is all I will say.Loved the book and I can't wait for the next one it's going to be so bloody good.

The tutor
Nora accepts a tutor's job hours away from home in a remote cabin off the grid for 6 months but by the time she starts to realise all is not what it seems is it too late? I really enjoyed this book although i did struggle at first as the book flits between lots of characters as well as present time and past time so it made it a little hard to follow but once you got going with the story it was easier to keep up. Overall a great read that keeps you turning the pages.

Profound and compelling
This is quite different to the captive/romance books I've read before. This is more about manipulation and I'm not even sure I would call it romantic. It's very well written. You've already read the blurb so no need for me to rehash it. Holden had a very disturbing childhood and I can't help but feel some remorse for him and was hoping for a different ending, hence the 4 stars rather than 5.

Wow!
fantastic book, lots of different POVs so was a bit wary to begin with but it all reads really easily and it wouldn't have been the same had it been only one or two.Nora and Holden's story is one I won't forget..that ending, shocked! Straight on to The Brother next to see what happens to Nora,Eve,Lotte and Aubrey.

Dark but Enjoyable
I had overlooked this book and read "The Brother" first. Reading this story allowed me to understand that book more. I really enjoyed "The Tutor". It was well told. If you like your romances quite dark you'll enjoy this. Fantastic characters. I would recommend.
