This is been a great purchase as it is sturdy and fairly easy to install if you know your way around a screw gun. Had to put wood blocks behind the siding in the garage to screw into as the siding is fairly thin in this house.This product is doing an absolutely incredible job of outraging my conservative neighbors and the MAGA 45 cultists that drive by on the street. I’ve gotten equal parts compliments and cussing so far.I would say a small child or small minded person could safely hang from the pole by their hands without it coming loose.Particularly like the set screw that locks the pole into the fitting, pole can’t be removed without pliers if tightened down.

I have a level of my deck that is maybe 7 feet off the ground. Previously I had a 3/4 inch diameter flagpole with an aluminum bracket. I can't prove it but I think the kids in the neighborhood saw the tip of the flag was low enough to try and jump up and grab it but in doing so , bent the bracket. I then shopped for a 1 inch diameter pole with a heavy duty coated steel bracket. This feels like it can withstand hurricane force winds. In reality , who knows but I like it

This is a great flag pole. Its thicker than most mounts will hold so, you'll have to have a mount for it. The mount I had, had the flag interfering with the roof, sometimes getting stuck on the gutter. However, this may have more to do with mount and mount location.Its a strong pole and the connection to the flag with carabiner clips making the pole able to use with any flag.

I was able to mount this flag pole on my brick house without issues. Marked the holes drilled with a cement bit and the screws and plastic inserts fit perfectly. Now I'm buying flags and very proud to fly them.

Easy to install. Holds my flag in strong winds.

I’m not one for putting out bad reviews but I can’t let this junk be bought. Definitely tried to get it to spin in light winds but it tangles faster on the pole then my plain old one that didn’t spin. It’s in pieces which with little to no stress started to stretch out at joins that I made sure were tight. Very cheaply made. The ball at the end had flat spots that looked terrible. Overall DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Excessive wind collapsed the tubes. Everything else was okay easy install, looked good, I was excited. 50mph winds are not okay. It did tangle some and caribeaners kept catching on the set screws. If you mount them at an angle and put the set screw upward maybe it would work for less windy areas. I reused the flag attachments on a stronger pole but everything else Ive had to toss. Ill see how long that last, worried about the plastic…
