This is an excellent Swiss style spaetzli, and the best alternative we've found to making it fresh. While the ingredients are similar, the Swiss style spaetzli is plumper and shorter, while the German style is longer and thinner. Once cooked according to directions, we layer it in a casserole dish with grated Swiss cheese, a dusting of Italian style bread crumbs, and Maggi liquid seasoning. Good stuff!
