This is a very cool practice device. It has a very realistic look and feel and I appreciate that this option had a good variety of different "wounds" that may call for a variety of different stitches, so, this practice kit has a good diversity of practice opportunities. Arrived well protected, not only in a box but in a protected, closed sleeve which I will reuse for good storage. Very affordable, high quality item. Very pleased.

Good to learn on, though not the most durable

Arrived on time and works perfectly for my daughter. She uses it to practice in her medical class. The 3 layers makes it feel more realistic and represents actual skin.

Picked this up to practice suturing — the 3-layer pad feels surprisingly real and durable. Perfect for nursing students or anyone sharpening their skills before clinicals 🩺✂️

Note this product is not that great for complex suturing. I tried to perform a deeper suturing technique and the plastic mold tore. Recommendation for simple suturing techniques such as a running suture or interrupted suturing.

Perfect for beginners who want to learn how to take sutures. Feels good and very similar to skin.

I'm an Pediatric Emergency medicine specialist, practicing suturing on a daily basis. I've seen many products of this kind, and I'm sorry to say that this product is of very low quality. I've tried this product with several different suture types and sizes. first of all - the product itself STINKS of petroleum, and has a slimy-oily layer of petroleum as well. The simulated wounds/lacerations themselves are not realistic, as they require a lot of tension for closure, which is unequivocal to their width and length, and that same suture tension , in addition to the low quality of the material, causes it to tear easily.
