I was about to give up on yomega as I bought some yoyos from their responsive line and wasn't all that impressed.The fireball was good, the raider is better, but the spectrum was a disaster of a beatiful yoyo as it would go unresponsive in mid trick. The metal unresponsive line, revived my faith. Specifically this yoyo.The java finish is great and only gets better when spinning. The balance is GREAT! From your simplest tricks to your tech tricks, you can count on the the balance of this yoyo.Good long spin times with a healthy weight. You might say it feels a wee bit heavy when it hits the strings. This to me though, gives each trick execution into a satisfying feeling with a nice sense of being able to use that to launch into the next trick in your combo.The negative? Not much actually. That is if you love your finger spins, dna, and grinds. The java finish is very grippy so spins and thumb grinds will rely solely on your nails. If you bite or trim your nails flush, no spins. Sorry, too grippy.This is also designed for freehand/counterweight style. Now this is where this item OUTSHINES the yoyo packages from magic yoyo and other companies that sell for around this price. The usual:Box, yoyo glove/or not, 1-5 strings (smaller companies have done more), yoyo bag/case/nothing, and that's it.This has a metal embossed collector's box, three strings, a yoyo tool, AND a counterweight. This is a all in one kit for unresponsive/freehand AND they are happy to provide it at a cost where most companies do less.All these factors put together (though not the absolute dream yoyo), makes this for an awesome yoyo-ing/learning experience.🤘😎THROW AND ENJOY!!!😎👍

For me, this is the perfect Yoyo. I’m sure there are many tricks that larger Yoyos could do better but I appreciate that you need a more precise technique with this smaller guy so when you stick the trick on this guy, it feels great.

Works very good but you need to put in the beginner bearindeed beginner bearing otherwise you have to be pretty good at it but it's very fun very solid definitely worth the money

I've bought a few affordable yoyos finding a good yoyo to learn with. A Duncan, a Magicyoyo, and a different metal Yomega. This is definitely my favorite; it feels great to throw.

The shape and size is very comfortable, but it arrived completely out of balance.It’s not that hard to mill a consistent shape using a lathe, but somehow, they failed where metal yo-yos half their price succeed.

My son loves his yo-yo and it is a beautiful color but I must say that it is a little bit hard for some beginners to really comprehend how to get it to stay in like a sleeping mode it's not as easy or even semi easy as general yo-yos as a warning but it is an awesome yo-yo once you do get that down and much easier on tricks

I haven't had a yoyo in over 20 yrs. Recently bought a yomega fireball and wanted something a lil more. But great product overall

Great build feels very solid and great throw feeling overall. a great yo-yo overall and really nice packaging and materials. Great job yomega. A little too small for me and having trouble switching the bearing, so I took 1 star off, otherwise would be 5 stars.

I love this yoyo but now i need another responsive bearing 😟

幅広の大型で少し軽めの機種が流行ってる中、小さめの重たい機種って他に無さそうなので面白い。指に負担がかかるが、投げる力の弱いお子さんとかは重量が回転を稼いでくれてサイズも握りやすいので良いかもしれない。ちょいと癖強いけど。

Bearing is completely stuck and can't be taken out, I've only had it for a few hours now and the bearing is off center and stuck.

20年前、ファイヤーボールやステルスレイダーに憧れ、ヨメガこそ最高と信じて疑わない人。その後ネットで、「最近のヨーヨーは金属製が主流らしい」という知識を聞きかじった人。だったら、ヨメガのメタルこそが最高だとかたくなに信じ込んでいる人。その人は迷わずこれを買いましょう。正直言って、他に性能がいいヨーヨーはいくらでもあります。Amazon's Choiceにある1000円ぐらいのプラスチックヨーヨーですら「ステルスファイヤー」よりは高性能です。メタルが欲しければ、同価格帯の「スピンガジェット」の方がおすすめです。大体、このページの隣に、同じヨメガの「Glide XP」というヨーヨーが見えると思うのですが、競技性で言えばそっちの方が高性能なんです。でも、なんか形が変じゃないですか。妙に幅広いし、カクカクしてるし、変な段はあるし。これは、まるっこくて痛くなさそうだし、「ステルスレイダー」とさほど変わらない形状だし、安心感があります。しかしながら、スリープしたときストリングが当たって回転が減らないよう、溝の部分が工夫されているので、昔の機種よりスリープ時間は段違いに高いのです。今じゃ当たり前の構造ですが、この手の機種は懐古趣味狙いが多く、あえて昔のような溝にされていることが多いのです。つまり、「あのヨメガのメタルが欲しい！」と思っている人にはドンピシャリなヨーヨーです。YouTubeで世界チャンピオンがやってるような技はできません。でも、「ブランコ」は昔のままできるし、「アトミックファイヤー」だって楽々です。ちょっと戻りは悪いですが、これを読んで買う気になっている人は、メンテナンスオイルを差すでしょう(今は差さないのが主流)？「ヨメガのメタル」と聞いて、「なんか思ったのと違う」とは思わせない。そしてお値段3000円。おまけも豪華。ヨメガファンなら、もしくは、現在主流のメーカーが「聞いたことないから不安だ」というなら、安心して買えるヨーヨーだと思います。ちょっとでも競技志向の人は「Glide XP」の方を買いましょう。というか「クラウン」か「シャッター」を買いましょう。
