Makes driving with a firearm much more comfortable and convenient
This makes driving with a firearm much more comfortable and convenient. Installation took about 10 minutes and didn't really have any issues. I read some of the reviews stating that it is wobbly and not secure but if you follow the instructions and install the zip tie or bungee cord on the underside of the seat, you will have only minimal wobble. And by minimal I mean no more than any other similar style device. I have a 2018 Dodge Caravan and had no problem finding a suitable securing location under the seat for the bungee cord. I have been out driving for about an hour on both smooth and very bumpy roads and again, only minimal side to side wobble with my fully loaded pistol in the holster. I am a fairly average sized guy and the holster does not rub my leg at all which was my only worry prior to purchasing it. I also bought the Highway Holster size 6 holster and found the thumb snap very easy to manipulate after adjusting it a few times to accommodate my draw angle and tension I liked. The holster does take some finesse to get it off the horizontal brace once installed in the vehicle, but I would rather it be tight like this rather than loose and possibly go flying off during an accident. I don't plan on removing the holster from the vehicle because I wear a hybrid two loop holster on my person. I just remove my firearm from my IWB holster and secure it in this holster while driving. And with this being installed low and within reach while sitting, it does not draw any attention from onlookers when I remove/insert my firearm. So a big plus there for ease of keeping concealed. Also, if I put my leg against the holster, nobody would be able to see my firearm from the drivers side window, no matter how tall they are. I have only had this installed for one day but I am liking it so far with no major complaints. I will probably write another review in a few months to see how it holds up long-term.

Works great for 2004 gmc envoy
Have this on a 2004 GMC ENVOY and it works great, fits very snug to the seat side and doesn't move much, if at all. I have it for a Shield and am using a Blackhawk Ambidextrous Multi Use Holster with Magazine Pouch size 06 for it, this specific Blackhawk holster is a great fit for this mount for anyone looking for an alternative holster to the manufacture holster that is recommended, and similar to the recommended holster this specific Blackhawk holster has a perfectly sized metal clip that fits snug into this mount, almost seems like it was designed for it. The mount itself as I mentioned fits very well in my car, and for anyone with a truck or larger suv I feel this mount is great would be a great alternative to drilling, the only thing I would change about it is the clip size, this blackhawk holster fits great in this mount however it doesn't fit all iwb holsters because the clip size is so large. Overall I do think its a great product, its a little bit price considering it doesn't come with an actual holster but I find it to be good enough quality and fits well enough to earn a 5 star review, theres nothing else really like it out there from what I have seen, great idea, and great execution.

Great solution for carrying in a vehicle
I was skeptical that this would fit in my vw gti with bucket seats but I gave it a shot and I'm glad that I did. This is a great way to mount a weapon without having to drill holes in my new car! It is also easy to install and remove if I ever need to remove it. I found the included instructions easy to follow. The mount is secure after velcroing it and using the included bungee cords. There is *some* flex due to the plastic construction that doesn't bother me much but I do notice - my heavy USP Compact does wobble a bit while holstered but I am confident that it's not going to fall or move significantly. This flex also includes the bottom supporting brace. I think it is adequate in its current form but I wouldn't mind 2 metal rods down the length to support the plastic skeleton. That may be an improvement for future iterations. If your holster's clip doesn't fit or seem secure as other commenters have pointed out, grab a file and file down the mounting point (including the highway holster emblem). It worked for me and now my holster doesn't move on the mount unless I want it to. The clip is fully engaged on the mounting point now - it was not secure out of the packaging. The mount point seems too thick but I'm unsure if my clip is standard. All in all this is a great product for those who want an in-vehicle holster solution but don't want to drill or damage their vehicle. I think some minor strengthening of its construction for heavier handguns would improve it to be 5 stars.

Mounts well, not compatible with MOST holsters
The holster mount works alright, depending on the holster you have. This will only work with the metal clip-type IWB holsters, or the ones with velcro. Look at the one they sell for an example. If you have one of the kydex holsters with a plastic belt clip, it will not fit over the area where you attach the holster without (a) modifying the mount with a dremel, or (b) permanently bolting/screwing the holster to the mount, so you cannot take the holster off. I ended up buying a second holster and bolting it on, so it works alright for that. Make you you firmly attach the part where the holster sits to a fixed point, or it will lift and not allow you to remove the firearm smoothly.

Love that you dont have to drill/modify your vehicle with this!!!!
This is my first ever amazon review. I feel compelled to leave this review because this product and the company are top notch!!!! What I love most about this product is that you don't have to drill/modify your vehicle at all!!!! No one likes doing that right? It puts the firearm right where I like it, right next to your leg/knee. It moves with the seat if you have to adjust the seat forward or backward. Also, I would like to leave my compliments to the owner of the company. I get the impression that Ryden Enterprises LLC is a small start up company and this is another reason I am leaving this review. After I received the mount and installed it, I had issues with my holster mounting correctly to it (not the mounts problem, was my holster). I called the company to see if they had possible solutions/ideas. The gentleman I spoke too could not have been any more awesome. He was considerate and asked how I liked the mount and then genuinely wanted to know if I had ideas of how to make it better. Honestly it made me want to work for this company!!! He went above and beyond and solved my issue. I couldn't be more pleased with the customer service. Keep it up Ryden!!!

Good concept, bad engineering, bad costomer service!
I was hesitant to buy this in the first place based on the price point of almost $40 but I thought I'd give it a try. What I discovered when I got the product and tried to use it was that it is a good concept but the engineering is not good. First of all it won't fit the standard plastic style of clip I use on my holster. I see more and more holsters using this type of clip as opposed to a thinner medal clip. Secondly, in my car, it doesn't position well at all. The spot where you would clip the holster is pushed up against the center console making it difficult to clip it on. Also the over all install of the product is kind of complicated, not very sturdy and a little hokey. The product itself seams good quality in terms of the materials used and how it's put together but the when installed in a car is just not that great. Honestly, I would be returning this even if it only cost a quarter of the price. Update, costomer service is no good. Look elsewhere.

Fantastic!
Details: - Vedder Lighttuck IWB holster with claw attachment. - Beretta PX4 Storm Compact - 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan When I started shopping for car holsters, I was dismayed that seemingly everything needed either screwed into, or adhered to, the interior somewhere. Then I found this. It’s ridiculously easy to install, and I love the positioning. My gun is exactly where I want it to be. It’s not necessary to lean forward and around my knee to get it from under the dash, which for tall guys can be a real obstacle when every second counts. It’s not between my legs which, at my size, is completely impractical. It’s all but hidden from view, and my hand can rest inconspicuously on it without looking like I’m reaching for a weapon. If you’re unsure if a situation is about to go down, you don’t want to needlessly escalate things by appearing to be going for your gun. This holster mount allows one’s preparedness to remain unnoticed. My leg does press against my gun at about mid-thigh while driving, however this doesn’t bother me. I’m a big guy (6’ 3” 275lbs) and most vehicles are tight squeezes. If I were a betting man, I’d guess that a smaller person wouldn’t experience this very minor issue. The one criticism that I will offer is that the top of the holster receiver would benefit from being more of a wedge shape. This would allow for much faster holster clipping with less hassle. It’s not terrible as it is, but I do find myself fiddling to clip on my holster. I’m sure that, with more practice, I will adapt.
