These traps are really easy to use and extremely effective in catching all kinds of little bugs. I have many plants in my house that attract bugs. These sticky traps lure the bugs away from the plants and trap them on the sticky surface. I do not use them on my windows because I don't want to see yucky dead bugs on my windows. Rather, I secure the traps to corresponding size pieces of cardboard, and place them discreetly where the less observant person will not see them. I would give this product six stars if I could. They are that good!

These window fly traps are an absolute lifesaver during late spring and all the way into fall. We live near a farm, so flies are a constant problem, especially when the weather warms up. As soon as I apply one of these fly catchers to the windows, it immediately starts working—and the results are impressive. The traps are very easy to install, and just as easy to remove when they’re full. Best of all, they don’t leave any sticky residue or damage on the glass, which is something I really appreciate. Cleanup is quick and simple, and then I just replace it with a fresh one. They are discreet and don’t take away from the look of the window, but they get the job done. I’ve noticed a huge difference in the number of flies around the house since using them, and I won’t go through another warm season without keeping these stocked up. If you deal with flies and want an easy, effective solution, these window fly traps are a must-have. They make a big difference in keeping the home comfortable and pest-free. Highly recommend!

This is a terrific product. It is important to be mindful of placement. If these stickies aren’t trapping anything, try moving them to a different spot. House flies tend to fly towards the rising sun, so placing these in the upper edges of a southern/eastern window will yield the best results. If the insect you want to catch is drawn to light bulbs, place trap in/on the shade, turn that light on & shut off the rest of the lights. We once had a strange infestation of a bunch of huge mutant flies that conglomerated around a basement work lamp. Taping a couple of these on the shade worked wonders. (The adhesive was not strong enough to keep the traps secure so we added a little duct tape.) After two days, the entire colony, (about 25 individuals), was eradicated & we have not had any issues with that type of insect since. PROS: - Simple to place - just peel & stick - Traps everything from hornets to “no-see-ums’ - Unobtrusive, (at least until they get gross) - Inexpensive CONS - Adhesive may stick to glass upon removal. (Use razor blade or adhesive dissolver if this happens) - Areas with dust, (right next to doors where dusty foot traffic happens), might require more frequent changes as adhesive can get bound up. - Sometimes the film attached to the front is difficult to remove, causing the adhesive to pull up. It’s annoying and wasteful if the adhesive is rendered useless before it's even installed. (Try peeling from another corner - this works most of the time, but it’s still annoying...) - Does not have a “lure” so thoughtful placement is necessary. (Not sure this is a con, but worth reiterating. Placement is everything with this product.)
