This is great. Not too high and not too low. I use it for headstand and dragonflag as support cussion. It is firm but still soft enough for the purpose I use it for.

Good product but poor customer service. Contacted the makers for advice and got no reply.

I always had issues doing sit-ups on a hard floor as my spine would feel like it is grinding against it. I've previously just used a pillow before thinking it would do the trick, but I find myself sliding about. This gives my spine the proper support and comfort it needs to do my sit-ups! It's a simple product, but it's worth it.

As others have stated, yes this is considerably firmer than the ab mats we use in Crossfit. I also use it as a knee pad when doing half push ups...I can already tell after a bit of use that this will help to break it in a bit. The extra firmness means that you have to be more controlled in the decent of a sit up, but that isn't a bad thing & means that you use more muscles. This may also make it better suited to larger users (i'm 6') - petite ladies might find it a bit too firm/deep. The underside has a good amount of grip & doesn't slide even when used on a laminate floor - spot on. Overall the quality is very good - this will last a long time.

A fantastic mat! I usually would use a little cushion to soften the blow on my tail bone. Saw this mat and thought I'd give it a go. Best money I've spent! Encourages great form and posture and takes all that painful pressure away from my tail bone! Love this mat !
