Works as intended, however if you are getting this battery for your GS-1285U keep in mind you need 2 of these to replace the batteries in the UPS. I was not aware of that so I had to pay shipping twice to order a second battery to replace both in the unit. Fairly easy replacement. Once charged I tested and they lasted 5 min with no issue at all.
