I bought this to repaint the etching on our outdoor porch light. We are having our house repainted & so we took down the outdoor lighting on the side of our house. I could have easily bought a new 1 but this has an old time "lantern" look, which can't find any more. My husband took it all apart & I spray painted all the pieces except the 4 etched glass designs. The deep brown paint on them had worn off bad. This says permanent, good for outdoors, water proof, & im hoping weather proof! We live in WI, so cold winters. It went on very easily & nicely. Few little Oops in going off the etched lines but if caught right away, easily wipes clean. U just press down hard to start the flow & then it seems to come out perfectly. Every once in awhile repeat in pressing down hard & then just keeps flowing without pouring out or gunking up. I then let it sit & dry over night. Hoping the paint pen doesnt dry up on me, may use on other things. I have yet to see how long this will last outdoors. But using & color was excellent!!

Works great flows nicely, used on metal, plastic and rubber so far. Customer service is A+ Highly recommend.

Good until it leaks. It worked well at first, but then started dumping too much ink making a mess.

These are more expensive than my usual oil- or enamel-based paint pens, but the paint/ink quality is noticeably better. It really is "matte" as advertised, whereas the others I use are really semi-gloss. A couple of notes: these take a little longer to dry than others. The lighter you apply it, the better; otherwise, if you overdo it, it won't be smooth. These are about 4x more expensive than what I usually get, but the quality is worth it. Coverage is solid too, it doesn't pool up or pull, even on tricky surfaces. As for durability, it can scrape off more easily than other oil-based paints, so I would not use this on surfaces you expect to come into contact with.

The marker was defective (uneven color and lack of waterproofing), so I requested a return for a full refund. The seller initially denied, citing various regulations and local laws. I then request a full refund without return, the seller agreed to the return. However, the seller only processed a partial refund and charged me for return shipping charges, terms which were never disclosed beforehand. This entire process lasted for half a month.

In addition, this item can be used in many different applications because it drys in a matter of seconds, can be used on any substance, can be used for long lasting applications because it is very durable, and it is a go anywhere/ do anything functional item I highly recommend.
