This chair does everything except have lift function or fetch a beer for you. I know, I searched far and wide for the functionalities this one does have. As with any electronic item we purchase, on occasion you'll get one that has some malfunctions. This was the case here. It is a LARGE item and the prospect of returning was daunting. Amazon Reps. were outstanding, empathetic, responsive and most of all never dropped the ball. The distributor did agree to swap out, as was promised, but their staff was not well trained in procedures. We always keep the shipping material as a precaution, and we managed to get this chair packed the way it came (not that it was necessary, per pick-up shipping people). We had to wait a couple of weeks for replacement, but here it is and works beautifully. Delivery people both times were outstanding and professional and the freight carriers communicated the whole time. You can't find this much chair for this price anywhere. Fully electronic, no more trying to get out of a reclined chair with your feet or handle to push. Has Infinity adjustments (not just 2 or 3 options). Almost 180 degree WALL HUGGING capability, so sleeping on it is comfy and it has ample seat size. The 20 minute Massage setting goes through a cycle of three different massage styles before shutting off. The heat function turns off after 30 minutes. It is not powerfully warm, but can take the edge off. The seating, back and arm areas are top grain leather. The headrest has it's own adjustment. This has TWO MOTORS and a STEEL BASE. It is a weird brownish/gray that is currently the rage in all the furniture stores, go look (not tan, brown, beige, camel or gray). Kind of neutral. Chair is big in scale, but in a modern sort of way, not like a traditional recliner. My husband calls this Birthday gift, his "Chill Chair". He has both Stenosis and Sciatica and needs the support and comfort. This is perfect! He even tried playing tennis this week. Not an employee of Amazon, just a demanding consumer. Hope this helps you to make your decision.

Easy to assemble! Really! I’m 5’4” and in my sixties and this was super easy to put together. I like the chair height, it makes it easy to stand up without being a lift chair. Support is firm, but very comfortable. Extended leg support fits perfectly for my height. Chair might not fit a person over 6’very well, but perfect for me. I purchased for the electric recline options, but have really been enjoying the massage feature too. Would recommend.

I bought this chair for my husband to use after having surgery. It worked out perfectly. The only thing that we don’t care for is the massage feature. Other than that, it is great!

Love the feel of leather when relaxing and soft. The recliner is washable and color is perfect. The massage and heat are an added bonus for such an affordable recliner.Only down-side is that the motor has to be used to recline every time. Wish it had a push back feature in addition to using the motor.

The chair was not comfortable. It was too tall so my feet did not reach the floor. When reclined it was great!

I’m a very happy owner of this(not made in China)Galahad recliner chair. The color is more of a grey with brown undertones. I wouldn’t call it Taupe as others have. I saved close to 400 dollars buying on Amazon with inside entryway free delivery. It ships in 1 box. I’m 68 and 165lbs. The size and weight of the box was not a problem for a standard 36” entryway door. Once inside, I was careful to cut the rear box panel. I then removed the chair back and chair back extensions. Be careful to unplug the power cord from underside of chair! Pull chair seat from box. Install seat back and snap extensions into place. No need for any tools.After a week my impressions are that this is a well built chair. The seat is nice and wide. It’s a bit stiff but I didn’t want that instant Cush feeling. A breaking in period is necessary. I’m very pleased with the amount of adjustments between the power recline and headrest. It reclines enough so that your feet can be higher than your head. As far as the heat and massage go, they are minimal. The heat is almost unnoticeable but does work. The massage is more of an air bag type and not roller type. It was to be expected as a spa chair would cost thousands more. Prior to ordering, I tried the chair in a brick and mortar store and it has met all my expectations.

As you can see from the photos there is a gap between the top half and the bottom half. Not like in the picture description. Color is way off from pictures. It’s not brown. Amazon says contact Ashley. Ashley says contact Amazon. It came in an unopened Ashley box with everything still in original packaging. THIS IS NOT ASHLEY FURNITURE!!! ITS A KNOCK-OFF COMPANY THAT IS CHEAP CRAP. TRYING TO USE A GOOD NAME.

Love the color, it sits firm. He likes that he can push a button and it goes in recliner mode. It has a heat button but it is only for sit area not back. That’s why I gave it a 4 star.
