After checking temp on same person. It gives different temp each time.

I received this thermometer yesterday and immediately decided to try it out to see if it was as accurate as my traditional oral thermometer.Upon opening the box, I found a small and neat instruction pamphlet, a coupon for extending the warranty upon registration, and a well-made digital infrared thermometer. It is not too light to where it feels cheap but not too heavy that it gets too heavy if you must hold and use it for an extended amount of time. It does require 2 AAA batteries so make sure you have a couple of them on hand.I did some testing to compare to find out how accurate this thermometer is. I took my temperature along with 5 other people using my original oral thermometer, then I took our temperatures pointing the infrared at our foreheads and at the point behind our ears. It was surprisingly accurate. It was only off by .1 to .2 degrees. Being that it was accurate taking those locations I will assume that the surface temperature setting is just as accurate.I personally would recommend this thermometer to anyone who is looking for an infrared digital thermometer so they can take a temperature from a distance or be able to take someone's temperature while they are sleeping.

I received this product and it has not disappointed!Packaging:The item was received on-time as predicted by Amazon. The packaging was in excellent shape and was clearly marked. There were no issues with removing the item from its packaging.Pros:We tested this item against another infrared thermometer we bought at a local drug store. The SERENELIFE infrared digital thermometer was easier to use and more accurate than the competitor. I am very pleased with the contact-less design and the backlight display makes it very easy to read. The display also changes colors when it detects a higher than normal temperature. The buttons allow you to change various settings including between Fahrenheit and Celsius, backlight on/off, and sound on/off. In addition, this thermometer has a toggle for testing other temperatures aside from body temperatures. A quick test to make sure my A/C was working confirmed that it was pumping out a cool 72-degrees.There is also a product manual included in the box which is well written and includes pictures as a guide.Cons:There are no real cons here. The only mention is that the SERENELIFE does take two (2) AAA batteries, not included. I did have to hunt around to find some before I could try it out. Not the manufacturer's fault here.Conclusion:This is an excellent product. I hope I only have to use it sparingly, but I know that when I do, it will provide me with very accurate readings.

Very simple to use, just point and click!

This thermometer is a bit bigger than my previous one, but I like the fact that it is touchless. No need to touch it to the sick individual, and it gives a reading fairly quick. The thermometer can give Celsius or Fahrenheit readings. The first thermometer sent did not work, but the customer service sent a new one after my complaint. The second one worked great.

This thermometer is highly accurate. It's easy to use and easy to read. It uses touchless infrared technology to detect body temperature. It's made well and is durable. It has been used several times and has shown no issues. It makes a great gift idea and is a must have in this pandemic time. Great value.
