I never used one of these scalp massagers before, but it makes it easier for me to really get the shampoo everywhere it needs to go and speeds up the process. I have a lot of thick wavy/curly hair, and this was reviewed as one that could handle my type of hair (and it does, without getting tangled or caught in it). It also speeds up my hair washing, since I really need to massage my scalp, and doing so with my hands alone isn't as effective as using this scalp massager. The price reasonable compared to what it do!

It does a good work at cleaning your scalp but it doesn't solve all your scalp problems. I bought it to help with my extremely dry and flaky scalp. It worked the first two tries where my scalp looked clean without any flakes. But after that I didn't see much of a difference. Probably my scalp's issue but since I did see a difference initially, can it also be that the brush that isn't working for me?
