But when I received my bottle, a good deal of it had leaked out through the cork/wax seal, although without any visible holes. What remained inside had a good deal of particulate floating around inside and tasted absolutely terrible.UPDATE:I've just received a new package, care of Patrick Schultz, VP of Hidden Legend Winery, containing a hand written letter along with my original order and a complimentary bottle of their King's Mead. I've never dealt with a company so genuinely concerned about their customer service, as I consider them to have gone above and beyond in said field. Thank you to, Hidden Legend Winery and Mr Schultz. Enjoying the new bottles with friends and family presently, and we're definitely looking forward to trying what else Hidden Legend has to offer.

the taste is smooth not bitter nor to sweet very mellow i enjoyed every sip this will be recommended to all my friends

I like the taste of it but just that I wish I could get this in my town but where I live I will order when I feel like having a nice glass of wine.

It's not often I write a review, but when I do it's usually because something was that good.The taste: not too dry, not too sweet. Hits the midpoint just right and is absolutely exquisite. (I'm no Mead expert, so take my opinion with a grain of salt).

Thoroughly enjoyed it! Very smooth with a breathy honey aftertaste. Loved it!

A little drier than I like my mead and a little less sweet, but it was clear, consistent, and smooth. Good mead for the price!

This is my first Honey Mead, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I found it to be very tasty. Extra sweet, of course.
