Bought this instead of a new monitor for the new video ports in newer pics. My monitor has all of these ports so I tried every one of them and works great.

Great product for hooking up a second monitor

This adapter worked perfectly with the older monitor I had and I am using it now. While this is being used for my regular office, since I purchased it for myself I am keeping it should my company retire me. It was simple to use, I have excellent picture quality from my docking hub for my system

It works but there's some funny business with my TV and the sleep function. This adapter seems to pass the sleep function to my TV but then when i gotta wake the computer up my TV won't wake, i have to actually power it off, then back on in order to get it to show the picture, other than that it works great! Just in case you didn't know, cuz my mom tried and it seems logical, but no you can't connect more than one monitor or TV to this adapter at the same time. The multiple adapter plugs is not for multiplying the picture but to simply have multiple output connections.

I've purchased several of these for use with Lenovo tiny desktop units and they've worked well and provided the flexibility to connect to whatever monitors users already have. I might be able to get the individual cables for a little less, but it's more than worth paying the extra couple dollars for the "works with everything" ease of use and not having to hunt for calls. 100% recommend having a couple of these on hand for anyone setting up PCs.

Plug and play went from 1 monitor to 2. Will work for dual monitors with out graphics card. Plugged into display port as 2nd monitor. 1st monitor played on vga port. Quality appears to be high build. Thanks and GOD BLESS

Works perfect.

I've used a couple of these type devices, and until I purchased this one, none had actually worked. More accurately, this adapter sorta works, but has issues with image quality on every monitor using the HDMI plug. This particular adapter works great with the VGA and DVI output plugs, but has some issues on the HDMI plug. With the HDMI conversion, there is a slight "shadow" on all text and images, making it appear out of focus, and making it difficult to focus on the text/images. Anything other then a short time viewing will give you a headache. If you're going to use it with a VGA or DVI cable on the outbound side, it will work good, but not so much with HDMI. UPDATE: The company contacted me after I posted this review and offered me a replacement.....here's where it got strange. I was emailed a "code" to use on Amazon that would allow me to purchase another for 1 cent. I refused, and told the company that if they were going to replace it, then replace it. After waiting a few weeks for a new one shipped from China, the replacement arrived. I tested it on 3 different computers/video cards/monitors, and the HDMI connection is actually WORSE then the original! When a monitor is connected to the HDMI port there is an obvious double image, slightly overlapped, that makes viewing images painful, and viewing text next to impossible. While I appreciate the company trying to make it right, they obviously have a problem with the HDMI connection that they need to address/fix. I can only assume that since this one has the same issue, only worse then the original, there was no testing or QC accomplished on either item. Because of that fact, I am changing my rating to 1 star. As I mentioned previously, the VGA and DVI connections work fine, but since I purchased this item specifically to convert DP to HDMI, it's basically useless to me. I hate to say it.....but it's just another piece of junk from China.

Lo compré para conectar un segundo monitor a mi pc, ya que la tarjeta grafica solo tenía un puerto hdmi ya ocupado por el monitor principal y luego puertos display port. Con este conector, pude conectar la segunda pantalla sin problema a uno de esos puertos, utilizando la conexión dvi, con un resultado genial, tan bueno, que acabé comprando otra unidad para conectar hacer lo mismo con otro pc, pero esta vez con una conexión vga. Tengo que decir, que para este segundo, compré otros adaptadores y ninguno funcionaba correctamente y con este he dado en el clavo. Respecto a las quejas de que por hdmi no funciona, la verdad es que no lo he probado y no puedo decir nada, pero si lo quieres para un monitor antiguo, con dvi y vga, funciona perfectamente.

Cosa posso dire di questo adattatore/convertitore? Semplicemente che svolge il suo compito in maniera perfetta. Ho comprato da poco un nuovo monitor, il quale non aveva uscite compatibili con il vecchio computer. Grazie a questo adattatore sono riuscito a riutilizzare il vecchio pc. L'adattatore è piccolo e compatto (si può tranquillamente portare in tasca). Il design è molto bello e moderno. Ci tengo a sottolineare che questo è un adattatore/convertitore da DP a hdmi, dvi, vga (non è presente il mini display port) e supporta risoluzioni fino a 4k.
