SimplicityWomen's Classic 5 Layered Tulle Tutu Skirt

Simplicity is an amazing pattern company and I was thrilled when I discovered it was made by them! I knew it would be well made and good quality. I was not disappointed! I love the reversible feature. The look was very flattering. One note many others have also mentioned, is that this tutu is quite short! If you are 'fuller in the seat', as I am, you definitely will need extra coverage and it will definitely rise slightly higher in the back! It wasn't a problem for me, because I wore leggings with it. I got many compliments. Will buy in other colors!

Update: after my review customer service reached out to me to refund the product since the lights were not working. They were really great at making sure I was satisfied without me even reaching out to them. A+ on customer service!It’s cute, soft and super comfy feeling. The only reason I didn’t give it all the stars is because half of the lights don’t work. I’m going to attempt to repair it or just add more lights myself. Using it for a run under the lights 5k for Christmas.

Very fluffy tutu with a comfortable waistband. I docked one star because it's not all rainbow. The bottom 3 layers are white. I can see it now that I'm looking for it in the product images, but I couldn't tell that much of it was white before I bought it. If you're curvier/ have a bubble butt, the white is very visible. The bottom layers are somewhat shorter, so you're also not getting the full tutu effect from it in an effort to hide the white.The waistband sits comfortably around my hips, ~41". It doesn't feel too tight there. It doesn't give me a muffin top, but I'm a muscle-y 190, not a curvy 190, so ymmv. It is the length advertised, but because it is sewn on so that it puffs out, it seems shorter. It's 10" out, not down. For me, if I tried wearing it on my waist, it would not cover down to my hips. On my hips, it covers maybe half my butt. I plan on wearing it with running shorts, so I wasn't particularly looking for length, but don't plan on coverage with this one.Very fluffy, short tutu. Overall happy with it, just a little disappointed most of its white, not rainbow.

I ordered this tutu for my own twist on a unicorn costume for Halloween. (Rainbow, im sure they offer other variations) It was perfect!!! I did receive mine with the blue on top, however, flipping it inside out so the pink is on top just made it 1000% more perfect. The waist band flipped that way def makes it inside out (in my opinion), but It sticks out further and all the colors are seen. It’s shorter that way, but I wore leggings so that didn’t really apply for my circumstance. Def going to save and reuse a lot!! Super cute. Great quality. Worth every penny!

I was worried about this tutu not being as fluffy as pictured. I got it and opened the package and was surprised at how fluffy it was! Very pleasantly surprised! I am so happy to have picked this one! You won't regret it!

Honestly, I thought this cheap black tutu would unravel the moment I put it on for my Halloween costume. Not only did it stay together taking it out of its packaging, but this was for my Halloween costume 3-4 years ago! It still looks brand new and pretty amazed at the quality considering the low, low price. Granted I have only worn this tutu again on the rare occasion in the past few years, but this poor tutu has been stuffed in luggage and bags so many times and I know the bottom of my closet floor isn’t a good place to keep it from getting torn. Yet here it is in its original shape. Apart from it staying together all these years, the quality does feel a lil cheap. Pardon my phrasing, but like “child labor force in Xiangxing district of China”-kinda cheap if you know what I mean. But regardless, it’s held up and has still kept its shape in the form of a poofy tulle tutu. Pretty decent product overall, especially for the price. Thank you for reading my dumb review

One size fits all isn't usually the case, but this time it worked for a women's size 16/18 body. Lots of fluffy tulle layers, short but not too short, and the lights are super bright even in daylight. What I love about the skirt is the battery pack is for those little disc style batteries, which makes it unnoticeable while wearing. I didn't remember seeing that in the product description before buying, so I was worried they'd be AA or something heavy. Should be perfect for the Shamrock 5k this year. =)

I have worn this to two events (a Halloween 5K and the Lady Gaga Enigma concert in Las Vegas). The lights are still shining bright and I have gotten tons of compliments on it! The tutu is very fluffy but a little on the short side so make sure you have leggings or biker shorts to wear underneath so you don't feel too exposed. I love the little, discreet pouch that is attached to the inside of the waistband that the control panel rests in. The 3 settings (still, blinky, and flashy) are so much fun! I also found this to be really reasonably priced. I feel like I've already gotten my money's worth out of the two events I've worn it to. It's still going strong so now I'm looking for another event to attend so I have an excuse to wear it again.
