I'm a huge fan of single use face masks. They are an inexpensive self indulgent treat. I use them regularly as "me" time. Pop one on, put in my headphones, close my eyes and do a 20-30 minute meditation while the mask does it's job. These Verso masks are quite a bit more expensive than my usual ones, 4x more in fact so I was curious exactly HOW much better they would be.I am blown away at how incredibly effective this Verso Skincare Intense mask is. The box comes with 4 individual envelope, with one mask per pouch. They are a super soft hydro gel and come in two pieces - one for your nose and above, the other for the bottom half of your face. I did have a bit of difficulty getting the plastic sections off the mask. Then getting the two pieces positioned just right on my face was a bit easier with two pieces, especially if you have a larger or smaller than normal face. The solution is very thick. I left it on for 30 minutes and my gel was still soft. The effect is immediately apparent. It is really hydrating, my skin felt so much softer, smoother and looked brighter. I did this before bed and the effects lasted all through the following day. Three days later and my skin still looks better. I am so thrilled over the results from one time use! The next one I will use in the morning.As an experiment, I wiped some of the excess serum on my dry cracked heel, and it made a HUGE difference!! I hope they make feet masks because this serum is AMAZING.Overall- yes more expensive than the usual one time mask but its so worth the money.

I was worried when I got this package because the box was all smashed. Thankfully when I looked in the box, the 4 mask sets are all individually wrapped and are fine.I decided to try the first set in the morning after my shower. I opened the first set and could not believe how slippery they are! It's hard to hold onto them! The part of the mask that goes around my mouth was on top so I started with that. First mistake. I couldn't see the thin protective film so I just put it on. It seemed good, but that was my second mistake. I picked up the part that goes around your eyes and nose and could definitely see the film this time. I removed it and got it on my face. (A tip for someone new to this, start with this piece and go higher on your face then you are originally thinking.) I removed the outer film with no problem. By this point, that section around my mouth was falling off. So i pulled it out from under the upper piece and took the film off. Then I put it back on my face correctly. I only waited the 20 minutes, but I'd say you can go longer. It seemed like more of a 30 minute thing. I removed the mask and noticed the results immediately. My face looked so much brighter, felt hydrated and was very soft. I rubbed the liquid left on my face into the skin like the instructions said and I think that also helped. Overall I'd say a good mask, but it will be even better the second time around since I know what to expect and how to do it.

The box comes with 4 individually wrapped masks, and the masks come in 2 pieces. One for the top half of your face and nose, and the other for the bottom half. They almost feel like slimy rubber, and have to be kept on for a minimum suggested time of 20 mins. I kept mine on for about 45mins. The mask doesnt stay on well around curves such as the nose or chin. It was sliding down a bit and I found myself pressing it back down throughout the time I had it on. It does not fully dry on your face, so it comes off easy and leaves a little bit of moisturizer behind to rub in. I have sensitive and acne prone skin and I didnt have any problems with the mask, but I didnt notice much of a difference right away. About an hour or so after taking off the mask my skin looked very shiny, hydrated, and smoother. Would I pay $80 for the results I received? Probably not; I'd rather get a cream/serum that is easier to use, and that I could get more use out of, for a comparable or lesser price.Please let me know if you have any questions about my review, or if you have found it of any help to you.

This facial mask feels like a facial!The masks are gel - not like the paper ones you can get. Those always seem to have too much solution on them, are uncomfortable and slide all around.These masks smell so refreshing and lovely.I decided to wear the facial mask for 30min. They suggested about 20min but I really didn’t want to take it off.I didn’t have any leftover gel to rub in my face as it had all absorbed.The mask comes in two parts. They stayed on my face really well and at the end of the 30min I noticed that the mask was more flat against my face.After I took the facial mask off I could tell my skin looked more refreshed. I felt more refreshed and relaxed. It made me feel like I got a $40 facial.

Seriously, I did enjoy using these masks. They did soften and plump up my face. My face did look much moister once I finished with the treatment. And I found the masks much less messy than others I've used in the past. The backing was easy to get off and the two-part aspect of the mask made it easier to fit to my face vs one-piece masks. The whole experience was very good. I just didn't feel it was a great improvement over a high-quality peel (like, say, the Verso Enzyme Peel) or intensive moisture cream. However, if you love masks and the general feel of luxury treatments, you'll be very pleased with this. If you wonder whether the expense is justified... it might not be.

This product has potential. The ingredient list is A+! However, the application method is messy to work with. It is a lot of effort to get the two pc., ill-fitting mask on. I would have rather bought the serum separately and applied it to my face directly. I found the product to be non-irritating on sensitive skin and the mask applicator to have a cooling sensation while on for the 20 minutes. When the product dries, it leaves skin with the texture you get when applying a skin gel product. If they sell this as a serum vs. applied to the messy mask, I would consider ordering that in the future.
