I rarely, if at all, write reviews but I have to say the white blackout static film was not only easy to install but also does the job and looks good. Have put photos of before and after on one of the doors I put it on. Washed window with sugar soap, cut to slightly oversized, sprayed both window and static film liberally with soapy water applied, trimmed job done. Only thing I would say is trimming with a scalpal is easy on windows like above but I'm not sure how easy on some UPV windows as you would need to be careful not to cut into the black seal that edges most windows.

Blacked out perfectly. We used this to stop light transfer from the over-door internal windows. A little bit fiddle to fit, but with a steady hand, a sharp blade, and a squeegee/credit card, I got there in the end. This is not self adhesive, but uses static to hold it in place. Three of these have been up for several months now with no issues at all. Very pleased with the result.

Very opaque and good thick quality. The grid on the back makes it easy to measure and cut. It does however leak some light through the edges, no matter how precise you are. It was easy to apply once we knew how to do it. However the instructions on the packet were very vague and not easy to follow. Had to come back on this page to look at the more detailed instructions. We will see what the longevity is like.

Great product, blocks out all light, very easy to cut to shape and simple to stick it to the window with a bit of water! Has not fallen off since we put it on and is easy to peel and adjust if needed. Highly recommend.

WARNING - RISK OF CRACKING At time of writing, the listing advertises this product as safe, with no risk of cracking. As one of my window panes has just cracked one day after applying this, I know that that is false. However, you'll notice the three star review rather than one. This is because I'm almost certain it's because I ran out of film and only half covered the window in question. Having now done my research, the difference in heat absorption caused by the partial cover can cause the cracking. So this is probably safe if used to cover a whole window and my criticism is that he listing and instructions don't warn of this danger. So please, tread carefully, I'm looking at a few hundred pounds to fix the window now and in the meantime, have a cracked pane in my toddlers bedroom... It's not great.

Absolutely perfect product. I had to put it up in a hurry so I didn’t fully follow the instructions but the blackout of the light is fantastic. I have ordered another to fit correctly when I have time, but with a screaming baby who would not settle because of the light and heat, this was an absolute godsend and is super easy to install. Would recommend to anyone who needs to block out light. Will hopefully mean a lie in for the mornings now too rather than 5am wake ups by the baby.

Really easy to put up. Climate change causing hotter temps in the summer lately, but since I put this up, it’s made it a lot more bearable at home.

A few years ago I moved into a house with a very strange design, the entire wall of one of the showers was a glass window. I mean the entire neighborhood could see you butt nekkid through this thing. The previous owner had placed a faux stained glass design over it, but it was old and faded and needed to go. This window cling was a life saver, you cannot see through it at all, and it has held up for years now, facing the hot southern sun, hot showers, and cold winters, it has not once given up, fallen off, or degraded. It has not molded either, which is nice because the ventilation in this bathroom is rather poor. I would recommend this window cling to anyone looking for a quality blackout solution that lasts and lasts.

This piece isn't blackout. It is a transparent blurring film. But it is definitely not blackout. Do you know the difference? If I didn't cut it already, I would definitely return it without having second thoughts.

These are not totally black out. Light still comes through them.
