Best Looper for Under $100 Hands Down!
The media could not be loaded. I have been wanting a looper pedal for a while and am really glad that I got this pedal. It has great features for live, practice and recording. If you are looking for a looper pedal for under $100, you will not find one better than this one.

Really fun pedal... when it works
I love this thing! Really, I've had so much fun with this pedal already. I really wanted to give it 5 stars because it's probably one of my favorite pedals on my board at the moment, however I had to dock it a point because every once in a while when I record a loop, the playback will have a section of silence in it like it completely missed a part of what I was playing. It doesn't happen that often and since I don't use this for live purposes it's not really a big deal, but I don't think I would trust it if I was dependent on loops in a live setting. Also, it's a little hard to tell to my ears, but although the pedal doesn't color the sound of your tone at all, the playback loop does appear to be slightly affected in terms of quality of tone. However, if you're working on experimenting on your lead patterns, this pedal can't be beat for the price.UPDATE: After having this for a few months, sometimes when I record a loop the playback inexplicably cuts out. I still use it for practicing at home but I will have to replace in order to loop in live performances. Pretty disappointed. Plus, the dual loop channels just end up being very confusing to use on the fly.

Innovative Tool with two separable loops fun and musical
I've only had this a short time. I don't give above four stars if I don't know it's dependability. It does seem to work well and is sturdy so far. I love this little unit. For many years I've wanted two or more separate loops. I've tried many loopers. I love the boss RCs as they use battery, great sound and many features but with the duet just having an A and a B Loop expands the writing and practicing experience. In the "undo redo" mode it functions like a typical looper of five minutes (on side "V"). The colors are bright and you can undo/redo. In "verse chorus" mode you can record and overdub but you can't undo the overdub without clearing the loops. This is understandable as the use of one switch and the flashing system allow you in musical time to switch to the other loop to record, play or overdub. There is a learning curve but it's fun. When it flashes it is letting you know that at the end of that loop the next function will begin. Hold it down while it is playing and it will flash to warn you that after the loop you can begin recording on the second Loop. It requires practice and timing in a fun way. There's no storage or drum beats but I find myself enjoying being left to my own devices. I slap on the strings for percussion and if I make a mistake I just clear and start over.I've played with it a few hours but I'm far from having mastered it. It's quite an ingenious method.Sometimes I try a song with an A-B part but of course if you're recording the B part and want it to play only once it will keep playing or recording overdubs until you switch it. I'm not sure if I'd use this for a two-part song live but I may master it yet!On purpose I recorded one loop in funky 4/4 and the other loop in ballad 6/8. You could record a whole blues progression in one and modulate or a different Progression on the other loop to make a medley. I don't know if I'd use it live but in undo/redo mode it's at least as good as any basic looper.I wish it took a battery but it is very small, beautiful and packs a powerful punch. You have as much time as you want to record or overdub while flashing but it's fun to record rhythmically in time and then go back-and-forth jamming over each part.Functionally you may prefer backing tracks or bringing a computer or a more complex device for live use. I hope this is the future direction of looping. I'm not as concerned with Drum Beats and multiple tracks of the same beat. It's one of those rare devices that assists in the creative process and reminds us that it's about rhythm and timing and the moment. You need to learn this pedal like an instrument (not that much time) and I'm creating spontaneous ideas. While the computer has unlimited tracks and hundreds of drum loops and plug-ins sometimes I prefer to write or record with this. For $60 it's some of the most fun I've had in a pedal. It can get confusing so I'll see how I feel in six months.I've been looking for a looper that would allow me to do two separable loops. Many of the expensive devices do not really do this or if they do they have limitations and are quite expensive.CONS: no battery, can get tricky, two presses to stop (this is my problem with most loopers!), must clear if overdub is wrong ( only in V-C mode though), new device durability?I recommend this as a unique creative tool. You can do so much with just this and a guitar.
