I'm rarely moved to leave reviews, but despite what I thought was a high price I bought this on a whim following decades of using various chiropody sponges/foot scrubs and cheaper electronic skin removers. If I used those daily my feet were what I would consider OK, but a few days without and my feet were harder than the chiropody sponges!!After just one use I was severely impressed with how much hard skin this removed and how good my feet looked, (sadly I didn't think to do before photos so you could see a comparison). About 3-4 minutes on each foot immediately after a shower and they were smoother than they've been in my adult life. The same again on day 2 and they feel like someone else's feet. I suspect a minute or so once a week should be enough to maintain now feet are in a good place!The major downside to this product is the so called vacuum function. It may be that it's broken on my one but there was literally no skin in the compartment at the end of use. On first use I even thought the machine was smoking, before realising it was actually a cloud of dead skin being sanded off my foot!!To be fair, the vacuum function wasn't a selling point for me - I just wanted the extra power this model seemed to offer, and it has certainly lived up to that compared to other similar devices I've used before.The only other thing to note is that it takes a little while to work out the best way to hold it to get maximum effect. Once you do, you can literally see it working as you move it over your feet.Based on what I wanted going into this purchase, this would easily qualify as a 5* but given the vacuum function is part of the title on the amazon listing I can't justify that and hence the loss of a star!

This has greatly reduced the painful callus on my foot. I've only used it twice and so far results are great. I can walk pain free again. Will continue to use it until the callus is gone. Will report back...

This is pretty much useless.I tried it first after soaking my feet and thoroughly drying them, it snagged against the thick dead skin and failed to remove anything.On the second attempt I used it on the heel of my left foot first thing in the morning when my feet were bone dry, this time there was no snagging but twenty full minutes later there was no noticeable difference and only a very fine layer of skin dust was visible on my trousers leg where my foot was resting. I should mention at this point that I used the coarse head and the faster of the two speed settings. The heat generated was also a problem, you need to be very careful not to burn yourself with this, my skin got painfully hot a few times.I will persevere with it after spending so much on it but, at the rate at which it removes dead skin, I expect it will take a month of daily use to remove all the dead skin from just one heel, then there's the rest of the dead skin to deal with which will likely take another week of daily use before moving onto the other foot.To conclude, at the price of this item, an estimated ten weeks of daily use and the potential to burn your feet means that I strongly recommend you avoid buying one of these.

Like: does a decent job considering you're using it yourself at home. It's probably better to get a proper one off pedicure done or visit the podiatrist and then use this for ongoing maintenance if its totally soft feet you're after.Dislikes: The battery dies even if you're not using it? I always need to recharge, even if I've only used it for a couple of minutes on a previous occasion.Also: because the device spins, it can easily scratch your nails (people with shellac manicures: use caution. Your manicure will be scratched and part of the top coat removed if this device touches it while on so handle with care when you're using it).I wouldn't personally buy the product again for the dislikes I listed but it still worked as expected (my foot skin is in better condition) so the stars are for that.
