Easy Install. Looks Great. Off A Few Degrees.
I normally run digital-analog gauges but was told mechanical are more accurate. I've put enough of those gauges in a bunch of my cars, so doing these were a breeze. The only thing I'm going to ding these on, in stars, is the difference between what the temp gauge tells me, and what the display for my EFI is telling me. I'm not sure which one is the accurate one, but I'm going to lean towards what the EFI controller is telling me is correct. They're about 7 degrees apart (the gauge being the higher one). Not a big deal, since I'm only concerned with the needle in the gauge going to the H peg. Easier to keep an eye on the gauge over pulling the EFI controllerout of the glove box and sifting through the data list. I also went with the copper tube (Auto Meter # 3224) for the oil pressure gauge. Works great, and am happy with it!

Great gauges
Good looking gauges and easy to read. Installed on 57 chevy. Great set of gauges for the price. Only draw back is the lighting is too bright for me. May try to find some lower watt bulbs that will fit.

Nice but…
Have not installed them yet but they look nice. Used to Use SunPro in everything when I was younger. These are a bit larger and easier to read. Everything needed to install them is included. Disappointed to find they are not made in the USA anymore.

THIS IS THE SET TO GET, PAY THE EXTRA 20 BUCKS, IT'S WORTH IT
Big clear markings, BEST SWEEP- NEEDLE SWINGS GREATER DISTANCE PER PSI,DEGREE F. OR VOLT- the big easily visible needle swings greater distance than my old Suntune gauge set --you could barely see the needle move for 25 oil psi at idle due to closely spaced numerals and not much sweep. TEMP is responsive accurate and easier to read than old set- Starts at 100 deg F. and you can really see the temp differences clearly!(again needle sweep angle much greater--old set started at 160 so needle hardly budged once it got to 180 or 190) THESE 2 INCH DIAMETER GAUGES ARE EASY TO READ, FIT WELL IN LIMITED DASH SPACE AND YOU CAN SEE THEM AT A QUICK GLANCE. P.S. The nylon oil hose works great, last hose lasted 20 years just take your time route it logically- I like to cover with plastic wire loom cover & with a piece of fuel line hose or grommet around it at firewall, heat sources etc. Keep in mind; copper line work hardens with flexing or vibration. Good gauges, good price, Why spend your valuable time putting in crappy gauges???

Inexpensive 3-gauge setup that works
Bought this whole kit to replace a tired triple gauge set with a non-functioning temperature gauge in my '72 Cutlass. Installed easy enough. Two quick notes: 1) Get comfortable with your under-dash wiring, so you can identify both a switched 12v (for the volt meter) and the courtesy lights (for the back-lighting). 2) Depending on your intake manifold, you may need additional brass adapters to install the temperature probe and/or the oil pressure sender. On my Olds, I have the Edelbrock 7111 manifold, which did require an adapter for the temp probe (don't worry, it should be pretty standard and available at your local auto parts store).
