This is the second one I've purchased (bought individually) and am pretty happy with it. The quality seems very good. There is virtually no shaking or rattling during use. A lot of other dumbbells I looked at had plastic parts which would break down over time. I'm not to rough with these but don't feel any worries of that happening. I also like how most of is made from cast iron, including the base. The only downside is the 10lbs weight increments. I knew that before buying them but it was a serious consideration. Needing to go up or down 20 pounds total on a press is more than I like. I'm going to get platemates eventually but once you add the cost of two sets, the final cost of using these is a lot. Overall, they are really nice adjustable dumbbells, a top pick for durability and just look really good.

I purchased the 28lb and 50lb adjustable dumbbell.For whatever reason, the 28lb dumbbell when set to 8lbs weighs more than the 50lb dumbbell when set at 8lbs. The 28lb set weighs a full lb more.The plates do jiggle and do not inspire confidence. Dumbbell bench press or skull crushers do worry me a little.The handle has some girth to it and feels great. The weight selection does stick occasionally but hasn’t kept me from getting to the weight I wanted.For the price, I feel like the product could have tighter clearances to help eliminate some of the jiggling. The last thing you want to worry about is losing a tooth because a plate fell off while doing flys.

Was back and forth on whether or not to buy these. Got 2 say so far used them 2 times and I am pleased. A little pricey but quality is pretty good so far. Cast iron metal very little plastic. Only real gripe I have so far is the weight increment is weird it's not by 5lbs not a deal breaker though.The 299.00 price tag is a little steep and it's just for 1 dumbell. Thought about it an investment and space saving. I have some beach body workouts require weights and these are perfect.Another con is the placement triangle at the end of the dumbell it can cause injury or dig into your skin. They do clank a little but not alot. I'm always scared that the plate is gonna slip off and hit me or fall on my foot. Sometimes the dumbell doesn't sit right on the cradle and it takes a few seconds to place it right to change weights.The other thing is I ordered both dumbells at the same time and one came a full week later than the other one. Another small issue I have is the rotation ring to change weight in one dumbell is tighter than the other one and doesn't always click to let u know it's locked in, which is kinda scary when you are swing weights around.
