Dutch White Clover came earlier than expected. Clover was easy to grow; saw green in only 3 days. It's just beautiful...an emerald green carpet. And as a bonus, it's adding nitrogen to the soil; the bees love it and it's crowding out any remaining weeds. Love it!

I live in a relatively dry micro climate in the southeastern United States. My soil is sandy and drains very quickly. My lawn is mixed grasses with some bare spots in really dry areas. It's shaded by huge oak trees. I overseeded these seeds mixed with cheap rye for filler (they're tiny). I irrigated daily by overhead sprinkler for two weeks. I got good germination but the plants did not survive. I think there's nothing wrong with the quality of the seeds. I think I just sowed them into an inappropriate environment. The reason I bought this is I have one particular spot where white clover has thrived for years, but it's about 2 square feet. Next year I'll try dandelion.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered dutch clover as a natural non mow clover for bees and wildlife. Dutch clover grows to 8 inches.Last year I planted and noticed it looked odd.This year I have a full yard of mixed red and white and 4 foot tall clover varieties. The red is not such a big deal but I will have to pull the tall clover by hand.Previously this area was cleared and grass planted to cover my leach field. No clover at all so I know that these varieties came with the " dutch white clover"Also the tall clover will block part of our view of the oceannon mow clover for bees and wildlife.
