As described Good value
As described. Good value. The cable did not work for my use to control a RF Kit RF2K-S amp with the Yaesu FTdx10.

Very pleased
Only used this product for 2 days, but so far, I'm very pleased. I am using this device to create a rs232 com port on a Windows 10 computer. I installed the software first before plugging the cable into any port. Once installed, I plugged the usb side of the cable into the computer. The device was immediately recognized and a com port was assigned. I am using this to communicate between my computer and a power amplifier for ham radio, and it has worked flawlessly. I am also pleased with the 10 foot cable which is shielded. The red LED lights on the device also help to know it is functioning.

DTech USB to Serial Adapter 10 ft USB to RS232 DB9 Female Cable
Didn't meet my specific current needs, but I may have a use for it later, so I kept it... It did come with a Driver CD.

Durable
Ordered this cable to program a generator controller, having a 10-foot cable allowed the tech to stand at ground level while making corrections to the programming.

10-ft of RS232 goodness.
I used this to interface with older pieces of laboratory equipment so that we could use them on modern hardware with more success. This thing is a bit finicky with some of the terminal emulators but once you get it going it works just fine. I dunno why 'sheerness' is considered a reviewable point here but yes, it's shiny.

works as expected
Needed a usb interface for my older Kenwood TS-570D. This item, with null adapter worked seamlessly. Happy with this item.

Does not go 921600 baud
I tested this cable at the maximum advertised baud (921,600) and it is not reliable at that rate. The fastest I could get it to go reliably was 460,800 baud. So if top speed is important to you, this is not your cable. Speed was important to me because I was using it in a ppp application.
