Highland Princess Paperback – November 1, 2004

Good book to read and I love Amanda Scott's books.

This is part of a series. I owned several and several I checked out at the library and then wanted my own copy for my library.

I love Amanda Scott's stories. I would highly recommend this and all of her books!

This was my First Amanda Scott book, and I was very disappointed. Although I tend to thrive on accurate and detailed historical data within my Highland (romance) novels, these details seemed "pushed". They distracted you from the story line rather than enhanced it. Rather than a book I couldn't put down, this book was a "chore" I rather disliked forging through. The only reason I finished the book was because I "wasted" my money to purchase it, and because I couldn't see how the main character was going to arrive at his "desired end state". Still a disappointment and I dare say I will not be purchasing another Amanda Scott book.

HIGHLAND PRINCESS BY AMANDA SCOTT I JUST FINISHED READING THIS BOOK AND I REALY INJOYED IT. THE AUTHER AMANDA SCOTT IS A VERY GOOD AND EXCITING STORY TELLER. I'AM SURE IF YOU INJOY SCOTISH HISTORICAL ROMANCE STORYS YOU WILL INJOY IT.

A little bit to get unto the story but once I did I had a hard time putting it down. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Another great Amanda Scott read.

This story is excellent, although not part of the Secret Clan as stated in the description. It is the first in a series of six, preparing the way for the following five books about the MacLeod sisters. Excellent.

Enjoyable read set on Islay.
