Water play for water babies!!
This was the hit of my 2 year old grand babies birthday!!! All the kids joined in. Kept them busy for a long time. It’s so durable it will be passed down over and over. Easy to assemble and all parts easy to identify. Lots of functionality, hours of play.

FIXED IT!
So I read the reviews before purchasing and saw that they were all over the place. I decided to take a chance. Many reviewers noted that it doesn't work, or water doesn't go where intended because of the low water pressure. I found a simple fix. BEFORE attaching the green top piece to the water fall, just make the drainage holes larger. I used a screwdriver to stretch open the holes a bit, then I used an Exacto knife to shave off some of the plastic, making the holes larger. (You can still do this if you've already attached the top, it will just be more difficult.) Then I put the green top piece on to test it out. (You do not need to screw it in, it sits just fine on its own.) If the water is still just dribbling out, make them larger! Once you are happy with the water flow, screw the green piece into place. I tested out all the parts and was able to make each one rotate/move. The only one that didn't work perfectly was the one with two rotating purple pieces. I did get it to work better by pulling it out slightly. (Make sure all the other pieces are pushed in as far as they can go.) Then the water hits it and it turns decently, not great, but hey at this point that is the only problem. I only have one kid playing with it and there are plenty of attachments for him. As other reviewers noted, you can contact Step 2 and just buy more pieces. Like others I did toss it in the tub for my own amusement to test it out. My kid shortly followed it in and had a good time playing.

Great! It's a family favorite!
We LOVE this! Our 17 month old loves this toy and runs to it each time we set it up. There are plenty of toys to use on the front and back. In fact, the water cannot pass through all of them in a fluid filled motion if they are all on the same side. It's easy to assemble, lots of toy options and makes the perfect gift. Also, it's very sturdy and doesn't rock or tip when filled. Our older kids and even the neighbor wanted to play with it. There are many options to rearrange the pieces to make new paths for the water to flow. Very entertaining and provides a good challenge for the kids while using it.The only con is that there is only 1 bucket that doesn't have holes. This bucket is best used to redistribute water from the bottom of the toy to the top. It would be nice if each side had a cup or bucket without holes to use during redistribution.

Outdoor time
Amazing purchase. My boys love this. Easy to set up. I took off one star for sturdiness only because my boys knock it down all the time. If your kids aren't as rough and crazy as mine then it's fine. Works for its purpose though - gives me a free moment keeping them entertained and keeps them cool in the summer heat.

Requires modification to work
Like others found, this water toy doesn't work well unless you enlarge the openings for water flow at the top and adjust how far out the cog-type pieces sit from the wall. Our toddler grandchild mainly enjoyed putting Duplo characters in the bottom wells rather than pouring water from the top, mainly because most of the features didn't perform as expected. Step2 can do better.
