While I cannot speak for every device out there, I can say that this noticeably improved my IR range out of my Samsung Note.While I prefer wired headphones when I'm listening to music and such on my device because Bluetooth has limited bandwidth and my ears can tell the difference (although most people I have discussed this with can't), I don't mind using the poet with this device otherwise when I'm using the phone as a remote control. I just hope I don't lose this thing because it's tiny. However, it works really well and allows me to control my DVR, TV and even my stereo from well across the room.This is a nice little gadget that I received for evaluation and since I can't find a thing wrong with it, I give it 5 stars.

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I cannot get this remote to work for me.I scanned the QR code and downloaded the app. I was able to get this to kind of work on one device (a dvd player) but I couldn’t get it to work with the TV (LG). I think the main thing is I don’t know what I’m doing as the app is buggy and a lot of the instructions are in Chinese and I don’t have a clue what I’m trying to read. Maybe this is meant to work with Samsung devices? I don’t know. But I would think that because most of the electronics we use today are made in China, this would work better.Although I’m not a tech nerd, I’m usually pretty good with technology but this makes me feel completely inept. Like it would work if I could only figure it out.Because I’ve had this for a while now and have to post my review, I’m going to give this a neutral rating until (if) I can figure it out.
