I do oil changes for a living and many of the vehicles I work on have oil filters or drain plugs to the oil pan pretty close to the exhaust pipes. And a lot of the vehicles are driven from a location that gives the exhaust pipes enough time to heat up to the point they are hot enough that you could cook food with that amount of heat. These sleeves help keep my arms from accidentally making contact with the exhaust pipes while servicing a customer's vehicle. I have more than a few burn marks on my arms from doing this type of work, so I bought these sleeves to see if they would help and they do that very well.I feel like I am stretching out the upper half of the sleeve because I do have pretty broad arms but the sleeve still stays in place with the need to adjust it maybe once an hour or so. It isnt constantly sliding off or anything, but more of a personal preference on its placement on my arm.It breathes very well, and if there is an air flow, the air will cut right through it keeping your arm cool if you are part walrus like me and not fond of hot climate.In summary this is a good and functional product to reduce the risk of being burned on your arm when being subject to extremely hot things. I can not say anything about the cut resistance but If an incident comes up where I am potentially cut by something sharp I will gladly update this review to comment on the good or bad of how it handled the situation.

Strong elastic properties without feeling like my circulation is being cut off. They stay in place very well.

I was constantly getting burns when operating my weed wacker. I wear both sleeves on my right arms and it is a terrific product.

Keep burning hands because it isn't long enough in the hands but otherwise it works very well! Don't advise for someone that wears more than XL clothes, tight around the arms.

Very helpful preventing arm burns while cooking. A bit warm and too long, so I cuffed them. But, totally did the job. No more burns!

I use these almost every time I use the grill. These keep my arms protected nicely while I'm reaching over the grill to adjust items.
