We are IN LOVE with this brush at our house. My daughter and I used to end up st odds over brushing her hair every single morning. This brush has completely turned that around for us. Now she will actually ask me if I'll brush her hair sometimes just because she thinks it feels good. The bristles on the brush are pretty flexible which is probably part of what helps this brush to be less painful when working through rats and tangles. That does mean that sometimes, on my daughter's very thick, very long hair we have to brush through parts of it in sections, but that's not been a big deal. Once any tangles are removed this brush with glide smoothly through the hair and really does feel good on the scalp. This is actually our second purchase of this same brush. We loved the first one so much that we got a second one so we could keep one in my daughter's bathroom and a spare in mine. Plus, that way when she took it on a trip, if she forgot it or something, we'd have a backup. We love it that much! We just couldn't see being without it. Ha ha. I've already recommended this item to several friends and will continue to do so. We are big fans!!

Bought this brush 2 yrs ago and I love it. Was working great on my hair and I made the mistake of trying it on my horses tails. OMG! It is fantastic. If this thing can go through course horses tails and not pull the tangles or huge handfulls of hair out, I promise it will do wonders on your hair. Brush got relegated to the tack box and I thought I could just use my other brushes on my hair. Can tell a major difference and am tired of pulling out and breaking off my own hair so buying another one.

I purchased this to use on my granddaughter who has extremely thick hair that gets tight knots just in the back. I always feel so bad for her having to brush her hair cause she's so tender headed anyway. Her hair is straight all over except for the center of her head in the back where it's very wavy. She hates brushing her hair cause it hurts so bad. So I wanted to see if this would lend some relief & help out with the problem. When I removed it from the plastic wrapping I noticed some of the boar bristles shedding, not to bad but a little. So we finally put it to the test, she had a bad knot in her hair & we went to brushing starting at the bottom. I couldn't believe how it slid through her hair, I mean I did have to go over the knot several times but the boar bristles seemed to smooth out the outermost layer of hair while the longer bristles worked on the knot without pulling at it to bad. She didn't fuss or get upset at all cause this brush didn't hurt her like a normal brush does. She normally grabs for the all famous wet brush, she said this is her new brush & doesn't want the wet brush anymore. I'm so glad we decided to try this, she happy & it's not as painful of an experience to brush her hair. I would 1000% recommend this to anyone who has thick tangle prone hair....definitely works! My granddaughter has thick hair. She got frustrated cause it takes too long to brush. Bristles are too soft. It would work perfectly on thin hair.

Love it! I bought based on reviews. Didn't really know anything about brushes and I've never seen bristles like this before. I'm a guy. I have really thick, and shoulder blade length hair. It gets pretty curly too when air drying and no product. This is, by far, the best brush for what I want. My hair is really "poofy." It's simply gigantic hair. I mean, it's huge. I never blow-dry because more volume = awful. This brush magically calms my hair down to a great sleek look. It seems to grab the oils and evenly distribute across all my hair. The curve is awesome. Feels great on my scalp. Just love it.

Received brush today. Opened up and tried it, what a mess. I don't have thick hair but wanted detangle brush letting my hair grow. Brushed thru my hair once and all bristles came out. Thankful I had drain stopper down or all those bristles would of went down drain.

I like the design of the brush but I don't think it is heat safe, at least the boar bristles....they flared out within minutes of using with my blow dryer.

I would buy this again just because of the angle of the brush and the bristles. I bought this on a whim, because I have an older brush (I always clean my brushes after each use), however in the last 6-7 months my scalp has a massive rash and then part of the rash started to scab over in awkward areas, so I figured maybe even after cleaning my older brush there may still may be something wrong with it. Therefore I bought this brush, trashed to old one, and the bristles feel so good against my scalp and the scabs not to mention it’s easier to brush my hair too (bonus)!! Give it a try it just may help you in more than one way!!
