Some will find it helps with wrist pain
I'm not about to call this device life changing but there is a use case that I think many will find beneficial. Do to sins in my past when young and invincible, I am stuck with an arthritic wrist which is an unwanted, annoying, daily friend. I can manage it with medication or heat treatments but I noticed episodes would be worse following evenings spent doing a lot of reading. I read a lot and that increases when I can't sleep due to wrist pain. When I saw this product it spurred a thought. Maybe, if I wasn't holding a book (kindle in my case) for several hours every night, sometimes at weird angles, it may reduce the severity of the wrist pain. The price point was reasonable in my opinion so I took a chance and ordered this device. I paired that with a flexible, magnetic, gooseneck phone/tablet holder and changed the way I lay down at night reading. Its not perfect but after a little experimentation, I have found a way to stick my kindle in the air at a good reading distance, comfortably hold my hands wherever they naturally want to rest and turn pages with a quick click of the button. This works both laying on my back, sitting up in bed or resting on my side looking towards the close side of the bed. I can even make it work if laying on my stomach. The one use case it doesn't work is when laying on my side facing my spouse. That is more of a limitation of the gooseneck holder than the clicker. I simply tug off the kindle from the holder and rest it on a pillow on my other side if I feel like it. I'm still subject to my kindle getting knocked over but its works. The side benefit to being able to have my hands comfortably under the warm covers on a cold day is hard to overemphasize too. How quickly we adjust to more creature comforts. I even use the clicker now when reading on the couch. If I were a cat, I would be purring loudly. I've noticed a significant reduction in wrist pain and my spouse has talked about getting one for herself after originally giving me a bit of a light ribbing for this expenditure. I still have bad days but I have no regrets in spending the money for this setup. The clicker device itself has worked flawlessly in the month I have used it. It does go into sleep mode faster than my kindle but its a simple click of a button to wake it back up and you can start turning pages again. Mostly happens when I'm in that nodding off but not really moving into deep sleep mode. The clip holding the clicker to the kindle screen is well engineered and is easy to straighten if I knock it too much. The remote works perfectly and charging with a USB-C port on both pieces is a nice touch. I alternate plugging each of them every week. Have not had either run out of battery power yet so can't really tell you how long they hold a charge for. I don't really use the wrist strap for the remote but its nice to have that available.

Fabulous tool for bed readers like me!
Let me start by saying I have tendinitis in both hands. I'm a nighttime reader who has a Kindle mount attached to my headboard so that I can read semi-hands free. That was a step in the right direction of not hurting my hands, but I was still getting cold, and I was needing to pull my hands out of the blankets every few seconds to turn the page by poking the Kindle. That, by the way, caused the Kindle to shake for a few seconds because the mount isn't super stable. Enter this remote. Life. CHANGER. Seriously. I can have my hands under the blankets and stay warm. I can avoid making my Kindle shake unless I have to go back a page. It's wonderful. Now, the "cons" if you want to call them that. - Sleep mode is great for battery life, but it's annoying that every time my Kindle Screensaver turns on, I need to turn the screen back on and then wake the remote device up again by pressing the button attached to the piece that clips onto my Kindle - I had to increase the margins on my Kindle in order to accommodate the part of the device that clips onto the screen. Amazon would be wise to create a way for this to be effective via Bluetooth remote instead. - There are two buttons on the remote but they both do the same thing. I'm a little perplexed by this, but to each their own. - To go back a page, you need to still touch the screen, unless you get a second remote and set that up on the left side of the screen. All in all, the pros far outweigh the cons and I love this device. It's a great Kindle accessory and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Step in the right direction
This product is great because it works on any application where I would touch one side of the screen. So, now I can flip pages of books whether I'm reading in the Kindle app, hoopla, or Overdrive. If I was reading left to right, I could just switch it to the other side of the screen. The pieces hold charge for a long time when not in use and I've read for hours without having the batteries die. The downsides are that the buttons are still fairly small, and if you have motor coordination difficulties you may have issues with dropping and losing the button or with plugging in each piece to charge. It would be nice if the charging port covers were attached instead of coming separately. It would also be nice if the wristlet either came attached or if the hook to attach it was a bit easier to access. It would also be nice if the controller/button was a bit larger and the button had a slightly higher profile. Honestly, my main issue is that I keep losing one or both pieces when I have to take them off to use the touchscreen. So, another improvement might be making some that are more brightly colored. Nevertheless, it works really well and is a great option for reading in bed or flipping pages if you have a disability.

You don't know you need it until you have it.
This is the type of thing in which one will perceive it as a gimmick and a unnecessary purchase or a waste of money until you have it. I personally love this thing and it changes the reading experience completely where it is like watching a movie in a theater. By this I mean it is hands-free where you do not need to touch your e-reader at all. However I'm not saying that this is the best one out there, but so far I have had no issue with it. The only annoyance that I have is that the part that goes on your e-reader loses power faster then the remote. Also I find that that same part could have been made slimmer so it takes less space on your screen as many of us use more e-readers like a six inch screen. Otherwise this works phenomenally and I definitely recommend it especially with a hands-free stance for your e-reader. I use it with a bowl pillowed holder sold here on Amazon as well. The combo of these two items makes reading super comfortable super easy compared to holding an eReader or a book. However the longevity or duration of the product is still in question. I will revise this review if anything changes in that area.

(Update:18mo later, still works) Works awesome, game changer, plastic is breaking though?!
I don’t want to downplay how much I love this thing. I literally take it almost anywhere I take my Kindle. It is so delightful to be able to set the Kindle up or down and not have to move at all to turn the pages. I also think it’s generally better for your body mechanics, wrist neck, shoulders back, etc. I did not have to hold the Kindle up. About a month after I bought it, the gel sticker that helps it contact the Page came off, Making it slightly less reliable to get contact, but once I have it set up, it works. I just have to turn it a certain way when setting it. I contacted the company, but they didn’t respond as I wanted to buy more of these gel stickers. What worries me is it seems somewhat fragile. In the plastic in the back is splitting. Addendum: 11/2/24 I’ve use this pretty much every day and traveled with it several times and in spite of the crack in the back, it’s never worsened and continues to work even without the gel piece. If it continues to work, I’ll probably bump it up again.

Worth the money, years of excellent use
This page turner is top notch! Easy to use, works by RF so I can put a blanket between the remote and sensor. The charge lasts for a very long time. It's been around the world with me (in both very cold and very hot climates) for years. The clicker stopped working 2 weeks ago and the manufacturer replaced it for me under warranty! An excellent product and company.

EXACTLY what I've been looking for - perfect solution to read yourself to sleep.
One of the ways I like to fall asleep is to read a book. When the first backlit Kindle came out, it was a gamechanger as I didn't need an additional light to read the screen in the dark. I like to sleep on my side (or at least fall asleep that way) and reaching toward the screen repeatedly to turn the page, while not a huge problem, was a bit of a nuisance. I was looking for a way to remotely go to the next page without having to move my arm to touch the screen (lazy, I know but hey, I am trying to sleep! The less movement the better). Most of the other options I've seen when you search for "remote kindle page turner" or similar, came up with bluetooth buttons that only worked with the Kindle App on a smartphone or tablet. Unfortunately, it seems like Amazon doesn't allow for any accessories that would help with what I wanted to do. Then came in this product. Hard to get unfortunately since they seem to sell out fast when they come in stock but it is exactly what I wanted and works like an absolute charm! I am using it on my Kindle Scribe. The contact point can only reach from the bottom or top of the screen as the bezel where the device buttons are is too wide; however, since the device can change orientation, you can just flip it over and use the side with the thinner bezel. My only critique is that the remote is a little bit slippery so I just added some small rubber grippy stickers to the remote's surface. My suggestion for a future iteration, since the remote itself already has 2 buttons, sell the device with 2 contact clips and have each one programmed to one button. Otherwise, product is GERAT and deserves 5 stars from me!

UPDATE 1/2/25 DOWNGRADE: Negative stars for durability. L
UPDATE: 1/2/25 Had to come and update my review. Unfortunately, I’m having to drop these stars. Last night the Kindle with this device attached to it, slid off the bed hitting the floor and the clip part snapped rendering it useless. I had no idea that the plastic that this device is made out of would be so fragile. The drop from the bed was under 2 feet. I’ve only had this device for 2 to 3 weeks. There was not a lot of wear and tear. It was brand new. It wasn’t thrown. It simply was lying on the bed, and as I pulled the covers, the Kindle with the device attached slid to the floor and the impact from that amount of distance under 2 feet snapped the clip off the device. Once bitten twice shy, now I have to find a new device that I’m willing to spend this amount of money on. No other impacts did the device than just the drop from the bed to the floor. Need to find something more durable. Just discovered this gadget and bought it today. I love to read my Kindle PaperWhite in bed. As the weather starts to turn chilly, I like to snuggle deep under the covers and it has been a pain for a long time having to bring my hand out from my resting position into the cold air to turn the page. (I heard someone referred to this as an "American Problem".) When I learned about this gadget I knew I needed it. It arrived in several hours. It works straight out of the box. I think this will be something I depend on greatly. So many pros with this, you can read them from other users. There are some cons though for me. 1. Why can't it turn back a page? That is really necessary. (This is the reason for 1 less star.) 2. I would like an indicator light to know" A.) When it's on or off; B.) When it needs charging; C.) that it is charging; D.) that its done charging. I think it might be problematic if I don't know its charging status, I could take it somewhere and it die on me. Or I don't know when it's fully charged and I can remove it from the power source. (It's possible it has it and I just haven't discovered it yet). The clipper part attached to the Kindle with my particular cover on and I love that, because my cover allows me to slip my hand into the back to hold the Kindle. That's a big plus for me because I would not want to have to remove the cover whenever I use it. I can update this review here after some use. But my first impression is: "Where have you been all my life?"

Reliable Single-Tap Solution for Page Turning
This device essentially acts as a wireless single tap on the screen. It works with any device that can turn a page with a single tap. Wherever you place the receiver on the screen, it will tap that spot once every time you press the remote. It can't swipe, and because it can't tap in multiple places at once, it can't turn pages backward. However, for this one simple task, the device excels. It's very reliable and easy to use. Charging is straightforward, with a USB-C connection on both the receiver and the remote. The remote is a bit too small for my liking, and for some reason, it has two buttons with identical functions (both tap once). But that's a minor criticism.

Jeden Cent wert!
Klare Kaufempfehlung!
