pretty, not functional
First, the pros: it's a really pretty blue.The cons: it doesn't actually work. I'm not sure if it's the thin steel construction flexing too much, or just the clearances being too large, but the tortillas are at least twice the thickness they should be.Also, the enamel coating cracks at the leverage point the first time you put pressure on it. Not a smart choice.Finally, it's not even the same design as pictured. I'm suspicious that they thinned out the top pressing plate and added insufficient reinforcement to prevent it from flexing. Though I suppose it's possible the new design was an attempt to add reinforcement and it was even worse before the did that.Bottom line: waste of money unless you like extra thick tortillas.

I usually don't do reviews. But, this tortilla press is definitely worth the money. It is heavy, presses out tortillas nice and even. I took 2 pictures just to show the thickness of the tortillas and also to show the Dent. At the lower side of the press there is a small dent. Nothing to terrible. It came with Styrofoam. Possibly should invest in some bubble wrap to prevent any damage. Other than that I am happy!

Not for flour tortillas
Didn’t work with flour. Tried it several times, had my mom try it too, and the dough just didn’t spread out.Perfect for corn tortillas, but unfortunately I don’t need something that big for them.
