An easy, portable, handy tool
This is a great little tracing tool, it’s not going to make you a better drawer, as the rendering is really up to you. What it will do is let you get the basic structure, composition, and large shapes down quickly. If you like using a sketchbook or doing small paintings it’s especially good for that. I use it most for 5 x 7 portraits and sketchbook entries. It’s not as efficient for tiny details the way that a backlit projector would be, but it’s incredibly convenient if you’re traveling Or just want some thing that takes up very little space, unlike an illuminated tracer. Overall, I love this thing.

I think that this was just a waste of money. I am at fault for not thoroughly reading the reviews but it is very hard to trace even with my phone brightness all the way up. Even the screen itself looks like it was already used by some kid.

Didn’t do much
This didn’t really do what I was hoping it would. I was hoping to use it so I could use it for when I started working with my tattoo gun. Unfortunately this didn’t quite shine bright enough to cast the image like I was hoping. If you use it with the lights off then maybe it will shine brighter but that then defeats the purpose of it for me.

I buy this for my daughter she love to draw and she was asking for one so I found this and she love it

Terrible
I bought this for my daughter who loves drawing. The idea behind this product is great but the image is hard to see clearly and you can not see where the tip of your pencil meets the paper.

I used it a few times didn’t really get into using it as it was hard to see what your trying to trace maybe my lighting was off I am not sure going to try again

Junk
You have to use it just right with the right kind of lighting or it really doesn’t work. Is hard to use and kind of pointless. Just get tracing paper.

Works well and easy to use.
A modern version of the camera lucida.You do need to turn up the phone brightness, but then it is very clear and easy to use.
