Vintage look padlock.
This item looks vintage. Good quality, not some knock-off junk. We put it on a railing with other locks like they do on European bridge walkways. Looks great. Could also use it not just as a decoration, also functional as an actual lock.

Nice looking little lock
I have a bunch of "real" antique locks that I use for decor in a Western themed man cave. I needed one more to balance the design and didn't want to spend time at an antique store looking for one. This one fits right in with the others, except it is not rusty. It is pretty heavy and the keys really work. It came with a little piece of string holding the keys to the lock not a piece of wire, but that was easily fixed. I certainly wouldn't use this lock to secure my Harley at a biker bar but it works great as a cute piece of decor. Well worth your time.

Great prop lock
I work at a Colonial Distillery as a master distiller and I do most of the photography for the distillery. I have built a Tavern photo studio with all kinds of props for promoting our spirits. I don[t need original antiques. I just need everything to look the part. This is one of many items I have that help give me that old Colonial look. The lock works. But I was not really concerned about that. I have combed both Amazon and eBay looking for all kinds of Colonial looking items. I find most everything I want right here and usually the deals here are better than what I find on eBay. I am happy with the looks and the quality of this lock.

antique padlock
It's made in India so don't make the mistake of counting on it for real security. It's heavy, painted flat black, comes with two skeleton keys. To open it you insert the key in the keyhole and turn clockwise a full 360 degress, to close just the opposite. I'm building a cedar "treasure chest and this lock with look great with the black hasp I bought. The only complaint I had is the "made in India" label must have been super-glued on, had to scrap it off and the paint came off with it. Had to repaint one side. Otherwise nice working decor piece at a bargain price.

Decorative and functional
I bought this to put on a large walnut chest that I have in one of my rooms. I wanted it to be functional yet decorative. This lock fit the bill. It is made of heavy gauge iron. The keys appear old-fashioned, but they work.

Bought One, I really liked it, So i bought another, but it was cheaper, different, and crap!
What's up with this??? I bought one of these locks, and it was awesome! It was heavy, rustic, came with a little flap.. it was just great! Well made! So for the price, decided to get some more.. well, i thought i bought 3, turns out they only sent me one, and it says i only bought one.. but i guess i'm grateful as well because the 2nd one was NOT the same as the first one, it was a cheaper, crappier, less appealing one. Why are they different for the same price!? some people get GOOD ones, some people get cheap, black spray painted remakes??? I WANT ONE LIKE THE FIRST ONE I BOUGHT! Not this piece of junk that leaves black specs on everything when you touch it. BEWARE the "MISCELLANEOUS!" in the title! you're gambling for a good one or a cheap one.

much larger than i expected
the 3" designation refers to the size of the loop at the top. the lock itself is about 6" tall. the keys work but unlocking is a bit difficult. it requires some effort to work it, but given its beefy design, i imagine this lock will last for years

Delicate. Lasted 10 minutes.
Mechanism inside the lock is very fragile. My 9yo daughter broke it within the first 10 minutes. Locked and unlocked about 4 times before something inside twisted off. Now the key has nothing to latch on to, and I’m going to have to cut the lock to remove it. Fairly disappointed. My daughter is in tears...
