Breacher: Tom Keeler, Book 2

Written in the style of the fast paced film noir titles as it hops along at a frantic pace. Good story with loads of detail and very lively. Recommended i did enjoy the first offering and I'll no doubt enjoy the next one.

This is second in series and I enjoyed a lot. Mr Keeler seems to have a thing for women more than able to take care of themselves. On the other hand it was quite an unusual story and whole thing appears to take place over a short three day period.

Tom Keeler is a no nonsense hero who is calm under pressure and intent on making sure that the bad guys get what’s coming to them,After a career in the US Air Force, Keeler has ended up in Alaska working on a fishing boat. The summer is almost over and he’s getting ready leave town when he realises he’s being followed. But he’s not the only one being followed. Someone is following the person who is following him. Soon Keeler finds himself caught up in a plot involving nuclear weapons, a hidden submarine and Russian spies.The story jumps right in on page 1 and doesn’t stop until an action-packed climax on a small island just off the coast of Alaska. I was lucky enough to be sent this book to review before it was released. I have also read the first book in the series, Straight Shot, and the novella, Switchback, both of which I really enjoyed. I know that a third book from Jack Lively in in the works and I’m looking forward to it!If you’re a fan of Jack Reacher, John Milton, Jack Widow and Evan Smoak (all character names), you’ll like Tom Keeler.

Page turner and to the point with lots of gripping action. I give it a 4 as opposed to 5 as Ifelt Tom was just too polished and perfect where perhaps some idiosyncrasies might have given him more depth.

This is the second Tom Keeler book in a series of 4.After devouring the first I was looking forward to this and wasn’t disappointed.Fans of Jack Reacher and Mitch Rapp will love these books and I’m now ready for the third one .I’m sure these would make a great tv series or a top film.It’d be interesting to see who they got to play the part!

Ok so the title is actually referring to a type of shotgun - which takes a starring roll in this all action fast paced ex-special-forces-guy-gets-involved-in-local-conspiracy-and-uses-extreme-violence-to-deal-with-matters scenario.If that is not Reacher-like enough for you, the audiobook is narrated by Jeff Harding - and the writing style is not dissimilar either.In fact this would merit 3 and a half stars methinks, with an interesting plot and some varied characters. You will not want to read this if you are averse to a high body count - Tom Keeler is much less restrained in dealing with the bad guys than Reacher is.If you like an all-action romp then you will no doubt enjoy Tom Keeler. As is customary, some suspension of belief will be warranted!

Like thriller writers

This Keeler guy is entertaining...a real cool cookie..amusing confidence and above all competent...I. really like him...he is clean keen and occasionally mean...move over Reacher..Stone..Shepherd etc..he is all of those and more..looking forward to reading is character developing...

I have read a total of 4 of these books and I find them to be an excellent read the stories keep you wondering what the next page will be like.

I really enjoyed book 2 in the series. Jack Lively has such great characters in his books with such wonderful story lines. I can't wait to read the next book.

Am Ende schließt er die Tür.Toll, wirklich toll. Extrem spannend, ein pageturner vom Feinsten. Tom Keeler hat es sofort in meine persönliche Top Five gebracht. Mehr davon, viel mehr.Vielen Dank.

The second Tom Keeler book by Jack Lively that I have read this week .. action packed from start to finish. Loved it! Waiting for more! Keep going Mr. Lively!

A good read. Total change of scenery from the first book and interesting. The main character gets fleshed out more in the book.
