5-Step Floating Dock Lift Ladder Anodized Aluminum

We just installed this down at our dock. We live on a brackish bayou so I built some blocks out of treated lumber to elevate the mounting position and keep the ladder completely out of the water when it is retracted to prevent barnacles from growing on it. It looks like really good quality materials and welding. The only hard thing was tying knots in the steel cables.Update February 8th, 2018: The ladder itself has held up well. Unfortunately I'm switching my review to 4 stars because the plastic-coated cables that connect the steps to the handle have rusted and the retention nut on one is completely gone so it's not functional anymore and I'm sure the other one is close to going as well. So I will probably end up tying them together with a piece of nylon cord to keep from losing the step portion in case of storms, etc.
