I love this stuff. This hair gel can give you a really stiff hold if you leave it untouched. It will give you strong, yet soft hold if you let it dry and then work it out. And while I would love it if it were unscented...still the scent is mild enough that it doesn't bother me. Love this stuff.

I have tried many edge control products on my 4c hair, and hands down this is the best ever. The hold is intense but no flakes all shine, it is worth the money.

I noticed that the bottle is a bit lighter in color than the one i currently have.I loved this product and have been using it for over 10 years.Even the gel was lighter in color.It's a gel, but previously, it was really thick gel. Not anymore.When i apply the newer gel, i notice that the hold isn't as strong and as i wash off the remaining gel from my hands, it rinses away without much effort. Previous version would feel slippery as i rub my hands together to remove the left over gel.The older version, I would give 5-STARSthe new version, 3-STARS

This is the only hair gel that I buy for my hair. It has a great hold, and can also be used as a texturizer if you leave your hair dry.

suddzzfx when l first used the gel it had a strong hold on my hair. Now the gel is weak some what a none hold . The the gel feels like jelly a light color
