Work well for the lower bowl / pipe, but the ones without handles are better for the sides
These work very well for reaching down into the lower outlet of the toilet bowl, where the short ones without handles don’t reach. However, due to the handle and the angles, the ones without the handle work better for the sides of the bowl. You really need both sides. Pumice works great to remove hard water deposits from toilet bowls. With our well water, we really need these.

If you want a clean toilet, buy it!
This was no small task cleaning well water build up off a friend's lake house toilet....a lot of years of mineral and scale buildup. It took 3 solid hours and 3 wands to get this job done...but look at those results! Cheaper than buying new toilets. If you don't want to scrub for 3 hours and get the new toilet, buy the Pumie to keep your new toilet looking great!

I wish I'd collected a complete before/after, but all I have is this in-progress picture.I had a year's worth of undisturbed sediment that lined the entire area around the water line, of the same consistency/density as the remaining sediment in the picture. Having never dealt with this type of cleaning problem before, I didn't realize that all things like Lysol Toilet Bowl cleaner do at best is stain/dye the sediment blue.I realized after further experimentation, I needed to scrape this stuff off--and I feel confident after using Pumie that it is very effective at doing this without damaging the toilet bowl itself. I am very impressed.I didn't realize it from the picture, but the Pumie is very soft, and for the heavy cleaning job I needed to do on both of my toilets, one stick wasn't enough. I wore it down to the handle, and cleaned as much as you see in the picture twice with one stick.

Easier to use
Many of my friends use this item. Having a handle makes it quite easy to run it around the toilet bowl to remove the hard water stain.

Works like a charm (short term).
We have a lot of iron in the water and these things actually work. I used about 1/2 a pumice stone for 2 toilets and, after some elbow grease, the brown stains were gone. I was really impressed as the toilets are clean again.I am concerned about the long term usage as I believe these stones scrape off some of the toilet porcelain so (unless I'm wrong) I probably wouldn't recommended too much use of these. Once you do the initial stain removing, a normal toilet cleaning should keep the brown rings at bay.

Amazed
These are amazing. Had stubborn toilet ring and this took it right off. One brush took care of three toilets that were horrible looming. They are hard enough to cut through stain but won’t harm porcelain. Really amazed.
