Goson American Flag Mirror Novelty Decorative Sunglasses

As described, seems durable but more subtle than pictured . I'll edit update in the future if I experience any problems.

So here’s a lovely story. My best friend and I use to live with my dad and his spouse in MN. My friend and I use to work for the same company and we both got off work the same time that day and walked over to where my dad was a manager at a Kmart and we were waiting for him to go on lunch so we could have lunch together. Well we were looking around being our goofy selves and of course because we also worked retail picked up after ourselves and some others (I worked for Kmart before too so I understood the feels) we weren’t rude or anything or bothering anyone. Well it was summer and we went over to the sunglasses. We found these same ones on the display. We tried them on and took some selfies because we were barely 21 years old and of course had to take pictures every five seconds or we would die. We wanted to get them but we were broke at the time so we were going to get them when we got paid next. When we did we went straight there and to our disappointment there was only one left. So we didn’t get them and kept our eyes open. Now it has been almost sevenish years later and we had forgotten them until I was on here just looking around and saw them. I’m back in my home state of MT and he is in OR I bought us each a pair and now we laugh and remember those times. I really enjoy them and so does he.

What you need if you just want decent quality sunglasses that you won't be bothered much if you lose or break them. If you just let your vision focus on things past the printing you barely notice the dots, even though most people seem bothered by them.If you're buying something with a colored print on the sunglasses you have to get over it. There's much more expensive options that use colored film that is still see through but this is a much better option cost wise.

Bought these for my husband and I’ve been saving them for his stocking. When I tried them on, I could see well through them but was definitely aware of the flag detail on the lenses. I’m not sure how well they’ll function in bright sunlight as compared to the usual gas station sunglasses that he wears around like he’s in a country music video, but I’m pretty sure they’re right up there in quality. I mean, when you have American flag lenses, nothing else really matters.Also, since I don’t have a UV spectrometer, I can’t really comment on how broad of spectrum UV coverage these bad boys will offer.Who do you buy these for?1: yourself.2: your mom, especially if your mom was a fan of Ronald Reagan3: your husband that likes to light fireworks on the 4th of July, on everyone’s birthday, and on Christmas. And New Years Eve. He’s a true patriot.Who should you NOT buy these for?1: people that don’t like America.

You have yo understand that these are kind of a trinket/gag gift sort of thing. I would never use these as an everyday pair of sunglasses. You can see through them very well, the flag pattern doesn't interfere with vision, the frame feels good and somewhat sturdy, but where the hinges feel really cheap and weak.

I like them. They fit well, I can see through them, and they make the sun not hurt. The reason I said I won't drive with them is because the flag is a mesh over the lense. While you can see through the mesh, everything is not as clear as it would be without the mesh. That's why I won't drive with them. Otherwise, yeah. I recommend them.
