There are multiple setup options available. They were easy to install and work great. Like any of this type of light, the top can come off under extremely high winds if not properly attached.

These went in very well and easy, they look good and the light it quite bright and look expensive.

So, this is a little odd, but the squirrels used to set atop my wooden 6x6 posts and launch over to the bird feeder. The spikes kept them from launching, but they'd still sit up there. I installed these lights on all the posts and now they go around them. They won't set on top of even climb over them. Nice, unexpected perk!The lights are attractive and last through most of these shortened summer nights. Easy enough to install once you figure them out. But, they are pretty cheap (get what you pay for). We have no kids though, so they should go undisturbed. I have a spare if one gets broken.

they're what i expected... not the cheapest crap... not the disappointing overpriced crap. My main issue would be that it comes with all the parts needed for all different sized posts. I have 4x4 posts so i would order for 4x4 posts. if you have 6x6 posts....not so much garbage. If you have 5x5 posts.... a bit of garbage..... I have 4x4 posts, so... looks like alot of garbage.
