It sticks
My rear view mirror fell off twice this summer...I guess because of the heat. I bought the rear view mirror glue and tried to mount it back but I guess I didn't do it very well and it fell down again in a week. The glue is supposed to be used under 70 degrees and in the shade. That wasn't going to happen anytime soon so I found this mirror. It works great. I bought more glue to (possibly) remount my OEM mirror but I might not do that now.

Excellent bang for your buck
It feels so cheap, but it does the job without issue. I've had it on the windshield for a few months now with a dash cam attached to it and it hasn't lost suction yet. I think it's pretty great bang for your buck.7 month update: The screw that holds the mirror in place has broke. Most likely due to heat. The mirror also comes loose with the heat. The suction cup has been great, and up until now, I’ve just repositioned the mirror adjustment and locked it down. But, it’s finally broke. I’m still happy with the purchase, but it’s worth the money you’re paying for it.

The plastic deforms in summer heat
I didn't think I would need to write a review for a mirror. But, apparently, I need to warn others who may live in a hot climate. I bought this in April in anticipation and started using it in July after my daughter came back from college and I began taking her out for driving practice. I live in Arizona. The plastic melted. And, I mean melted. In Arizona windshield temperatures the plastic just became droopy and has deformed so much it is like a Salvador Dali painting. Not cracking - actually floppy to touch so the mechanism has deformed and the whole thing cannot be fixed to the windshield. Not fit for purpose in this climate. (Maximum of 117F reported during the period; perhaps 130F - 140F inside the car while parked.
