This is some of, if not, the best beef jerky I’ve ever had. It’s the way jerky is supposed to be: dry and fibrous. Only about 1% of the jerky on the market is like this, and it’s the real deal. The previous best jerky I’d had was from a local health food store in Richmond, VA that was made in house, but I don’t live there anymore and they stopped making it. The next closest is the No Man’s Land jerky, but this is better in my opinion.You might see the 3.8 review average and second guess it, but that’s because people are so used to the mass produced “jerky” like Jack Links or the other wet, translucent, garbage that’s in most gas stations across America. People just aren’t used to real jerky.I got my first 1 pound bag last week and finished it in two days, which was fiscally irresponsible, but it’s just too good. I immediately ordered more and got two more bags yesterday and am already halfway through my second bag. I have to slow down before I go bankrupt, but I’ll probably never spend money trying other jerky again, because I’ve found what I want. I’ve been searching for this since I moved to Montana and I’ve found my forever jerky. I don’t usually write reviews, but this stuff deserves to have the record set straight. 3.8 stars is a joke. I’d give it 6 stars if I could. This is the best thing to come out of LA since Magic Johnson.Don’t listen to the plebeians with no taste. McDonald’s is the most popular restaurant in America, doesn’t make it good..

I usually buy the slabs which are DELICIOUS!!!!! Probably some the best beef jerky I've ever had. But this time I decided to try some of their other options and got this. This beef jerky is NOT good. It was too dry and overly salty. Very disappointed, especially since beef jerky is a pretty expensive snack compared to other stuff. I'll be sticking to the slabs in the future. I got this and also the Carne Seca Chipotle beef jerky. Both were the same type of bad, although the Carne Seca was at least a little less dry and salty. I'm pretty confused as to how this product can be so completely different from the slabs. The slabs are SOOOOO GOOD. Almost too good, cause I go through the bag so quickly. These two I don't even really want to eat.

This is an excellent quality beef jerky. I am a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to beef jerky. I like good quality and a good dry jerky. I am not a fan of this moist chewy stuff that people pass as beef jerky these days, so if that is what you are a fan of, you won't like this. That being said, if you are like me, this stuff is the real deal. Full strips of beef, perfectly dried for darn near perfect jerky. As far as this flavor/seasoning, it is very mild for "hot and spicy". Now I like really hot spice, so I'd say this is a 2 or 3 on a scale of 10 for heat. Flavor is spot on, just not very "spicy" but that also may not be your thing. Overall, I am extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this product. I have had several of their flavors and they are all excellent quality and will indeed purchase again.

Absolutely the best jerky I’ve ever had. Pricey but you get twice the meat as it is way more dehydrated than Jack Link’s jerky.Far superior with each piece’s uniform thickness and no gristle.

Sometimes, the jerky is amazing and a clear 5/5. Other times, like my most recent order, the jerky is incredibly dry, and I'd rate it only a 1 or 2 out of 5. It is very frustrating that their quality control is so inconsistent and I never know what I will get.

I ordered, because less processed it said, but I wouldn’t ordered again, not care for texture and there is no flavor, not even hot and spicy at all.

I have stomach issues and have a very specific diet and beef jerky doesn't seem to bother me - so it is a regular staple of mine. I have purchased this kind several times. It tastes great and also has no carbs - which is hard to find in other brands. Unfortunately, my son tends to eat it all before I can get to it.

I truly enjoy some good beef jerky (all different kinds) , and do not mind spending a little extra for good quality. The batch I received was NOT it.The beef had almost a freeze dried texture and crumbled in my mouth while I chewed it. The flavor was extremely lacking -almost bland. I didn't taste the salty hot flavor until I chewed down the freeze dried like texture till it was like wood dust. This flavor was still very much lacking. The combination of the beef just crumbling in my mouth with lacking flavor made for a very disappointing experience. What a waste of money and resources.
