The straps are made of heavy duty webbing and the top zip closure makes sure your stuff stays safe inside. I bought this as a gift, but I love it so much I'll probably be ordering another for myself.

This is a lovely canvas tote bag. I use it as a purse because I can carry a book or file folder in it when I go on errands, and if I need a cane that day, everything has to go in one carrier so I can use the other hand for the cane.I'm a bit afraid that the sequin deco will come off when I sling my bag into the car, so will have to watch that. Would NOT advise taking this to the beach or farmer's market! Also, the bag would be much better with a stiffener on one side and a stiff bottom liner because it flops over the way it's constructed. I might have to cut up a vinyl kitchen dicing mat to get that strength.RECOMMENDED.
