Best dry snorke I have ever owned
The Cressi Dry Snorkel is a game changer! The flexible body makes it significantly more comfortable than traditional solid snorkels, allowing for a more natural and relaxed fit while you're in the water. One of the standout features is the dry attachment at the top – it keeps every single drop of water out, ensuring that you can snorkel without worrying about leaks. Unlike other designs that can sometimes get stuck closed, this snorkel works smoothly every time, allowing for effortless breathing.

Does what a snorkel should do.
It's a snorkel, works as it should. We dive and snorkel every couple of months and thus far it's been fine. Seems durable enough, no leaks between mouthpiece and tube, I expect in 5 years I'll be replacing it, but that's what I expect for a snorkel's lifetime.

Excellent Snorkel That Does Not Allow Water Intrusion
This is the second Cressi snorkel I have purchased and am now reviewing. The first one was the more expensive, so supposedly better, Cressi Alpha Ultra Dry, and I reviewed that snorkel here:https://www.amazon.com/review/R3O2ULYGVZ6VDC/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B00BX51IUCIn a nutshell, I was not happy with it because for some reason, while using it extensively for a week in Bonaire, I found that it was letting some water in when less expensive snorkels I had used in the past did not.I was still confident in the Cressi brand, so after returning it, I replaced it with the Cressi Supernova Dry Snorkel that I am reviewing here. I am only submitting this review now, several months after my purchase, because I did not have the opportunity to try it out until just now. I am happy to report that for me, this less expensive snorkel in the Cressi line, actually works better. I used it under various conditions over several days recently, and not once did I have the water intrusion problem that I had with the "better" Cressi snorkel. (To be fair, my wife is still using the better model, and she did not have the issues I had.)This Cressi Supernova snorkel works as a good snorkel should. The detachable clip makes it easy to attach and detach it from your snorkel mask. It simply does not allow water in while you are snorkeling. You can free-dive with it, and when you surface there is not water that needs to be cleared, or at least there wasn't for me the few times I free-dove with it. The mouth piece is comfortable. All in all, I am very pleased with this snorkel. If you found this review helpful, it would be great if you said so by clicking on the “Yes” button below. On the other hand, if you did not find this review helpful, I’d be interested in hearing why, so that I can attempt to edit it and make it more helpful to both you and others. Good seal, good purge valve next to the mouth
This works excellent there’s a good purge valve next to the mouth and you can just go right in the water and do a flip underwater and no water will get in the tube. I recommend it. You just need a way to attach your snorkel mask.

Shamu Watch OUT
I recently took the plunge and bought the Cressi Adult Diving Dry Snorkel with Splash Guard and Top Valve, affectionately dubbed the Supernova Dry. First off, let me just say that this snorkel has the aesthetic charm of a sleek Italian sports car—if that car were designed to help you breathe underwater while looking like a complete goofball. The first time I tried it out, I felt like a majestic dolphin. I mean, who wouldn’t want to channel their inner aquatic creature? The splash guard does an admirable job of keeping water out, which is great unless you decide to dive into the middle of a wave. Then it’s like your snorkel has just given up on you, saying, “Good luck with that, buddy!” But hey, I came prepared with some impressive snorting sounds when I inevitably inhaled a mouthful of seawater. The top valve is a game-changer; it’s like a bouncer for your snorkel, only letting in the good stuff (read: air). I was ready to take on the underwater world until I realized that my inability to equalize my ears was a bigger issue than I’d anticipated. There I was, floating like a potato with a snorkel, wondering if I should’ve just invested in a bubble wand instead.Comfort-wise, the mouthpiece feels like a cozy little pillow for your teeth, which is crucial if you plan to spend hours trying to identify fish and not just your own reflection. Speaking of which, I did find myself practicing my best “I’m definitely not panicking” face in the mirror before heading out. Spoiler alert: it didn’t work out well.In summary, the Cressi Supernova Dry snorkel is a fantastic way to explore the underwater world—unless you’re me, in which case it’s a hilarious adventure filled with awkward moments, questionable breathing techniques, and the occasional fish that probably questioned my life choices. If you’re looking for a snorkel that works and makes you look like a swimming superstar (or at least a really enthusiastic seal), this is the one for you. Just remember to bring a sense of humor along with your flippers!

Fantastic snorkel!
Works better than the $80 Scubapro Dry Snorkel. I intentionally tried to get water in it by swimming down underwater while breathing in, and it did its job so well. No mouthful of water, it sealed tight. Onto the purging, I was able to blow out most of the water through the purge valve, but recommend the blowing roll to be thorough and use less energy. I am super happy with this purchase. The mask attachment is easy to use when the mask is off your face. It is solider and secure. I would feel safe to breath through this Snorkel for hours. As a scuba safety device, I could sleep (avoid sun exposure) wearing this if I got left behind by the boat and was stuck (worst case scenario).
