Almost perfect for my purposes
I began my physical fitness journey doing low impact aerobics 40 years ago after the birth of my son, and I needed to lose weight. That is when I purchased my first Champion sports bras which, believe it or not, I have continued to wear. But when the elastic began to crackle, I decided it was time to invest in new bras. My workouts of choice are strength training, weight lifting, and high intensity interval training with barre sprinkled in as well; it should be noted that I do not do high impact training or running. I first tried the big box sports stores, but neither carried Champion. Since Champion had served me well all of this time, I wanted to stay with that brand but kept an open mind and researched other brands. Enter Amazon Prime Day. I finally decided on these bras and ordered two in white and two in nude upsizing the band size by one size as most of the reviews suggested. They are heavenly! Yes, I fully realize that after 40 years bras, like everything else, have come a long way. As time has gone on, it has become more difficult for me to remove racer back bras (which I have always worn and loved) and almost impossible when I am sweaty after a workout, so a back hook-and-eye closure was mandatory even though I was skeptical. When I opened the package the first things I noticed were how light the bras felt in my hand, the quality of the construction, and the overall appealing aesthetic. The straps are wide and soft with a quilted feeling and gel padding preventing chafing and the "digging into the shoulder" effect; the straps are also easily adjusted. The closure in the back has three rows of three hooks for fine tuning the snugness of the band. While doing exercises which require lying on my back, there have been no problems from the bra which actually surprised me. Even though there is no padding the material is sufficiently substantial so that there is no see-through, and I have not been victim of the dreaded "nippling" effect. This underwire free bra has a nice quality, heavy duty elastic band that, after sizing up one, fits perfectly securely, sits firmly but is not too tight, and does not fold, pinch or buckle. The material feels soft and almost silky on the skin with no rubbing or irritation. There is no feeling of being drenched from sweat with the moisture wicking technology, and the mesh portion of the fabric facilitates air flow. During workouts these bras have offered good compression and support yet allowed me to move freely in all directions with no interference. I have worn these bras for high intensity interval training, strength conditioning, weight lifting, and walking, and I could not be more pleased with them. After ordering the first 4, I subsequently have ordered a black one with my only regret being that I did not order more! I actually called my sister and told her about the bra; she promptly ordered 4 for herself. These bras are extremely comfortable and are one of the most comfortable bras (not just sports bras) that I have ever worn; I almost feel as if I am not wearing a bra at all the feel is so lovely. For my purposes, this bra is as close to perfection as a bra could get. I would give it 10 stars if I could!Top 3 Likes:-Beautifully constructed of quality materials-Soft fabric that is comfortable to wear-Great support and compression...approaching sports bra perfection!Top 3 Dislikes:-Like all bras, the band can get tight by the end of the day-Only dislike 1!

comfort and ease of use
I have been searching for a sports bra that has the same ease of use and removal as a regular bra. I am tired of fighting to remove the usual sport bras that go over the head. This item offers enough support for an average bust size. For me this item makes a lot of sense. I am over 60 and exercise daily. I have difficulty taking the over the head sport bras off especially once they are sweaty from workout. With this product you can also choose your chest measure as well as cup size. This provides the ultimate comfort during exercise.

Larger size selection would make it a 5
Love this sports bra. Even though most are moisture wicking, it is more convenient to unclasp than to pull over ones head. Adjustable straps. Washes well. Provides support for jogging. Gave it 4 stars as having more sizing available would be beneficial. Very hard to find a 32DDD. Purchase 34DD and have to use it on the tightest setting so "normal stretching" will make for more frequent replacement. If your size is available, worth a try.

Superb comfort and support
It's been nearly impossible to find a bra that's comfortable all day and has great support, until now. I ordered my usual size of 40DDD and it fits perfectly. It's snug and has excellent support without being too tight. It actually minimizes my chest a bit, which I like. There aren't any seams showing when I wear tee shirts; it gives a smooth look. And no "uniboob" look! The cup material is thick and double-layered, but there isn't any padding. Overall, this is the best bra I've ever worn, and I just ordered other colors.

Good bra but disappointed my size is no longer available
I've worn Champion Maximum Support High Impact bras for years, though various style changes and I've always loved them. I always bought 36DDD and it fit me well and gave me great support. Unfortunately, Champion apparently has discontinued selling that size. The 36DD was the best of the not really great fits in this bra style, so I'm going with it, but won't buy another. I tried adjacent sizes (38DD and 38DDD) but the band was too big on me to give me the support I need. I hope Champion will bring back 36DDD for those of us who need a big cup and a small band size. For reference, my size in non-sports bras is a 32-34 band and HH-J cup in UK sizing. But it's very hard to find sports bras in that size.

Great bra for large breasts.
I have several of these bras. They rival more expensive Wacoal sports bras for bounce control and size reduction.A seam at the top shows through thin tops but not slightly heavier material. And like similar bras, they stretch over time. Lastly, they run a bit tight so I size up.

GREAT sports bra
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have tried several sports bras (40 DD) and they did not support or feel comfotable. This bra fits great and keeps every thing in place. It doesnt move when you do. (Hiking and walking) And now that I am a little older and weight a smidge more, I really appreciate this back clasp. Going overhead on is okay. After a good workout and sweaty, the overhead part is no longer a one man job. Clasp for the win!!! I am ordering a 2nd bra right now.

Too small
Too small, despite ordering in my consistent bra size. I’m fine with sports bras being tight (and maybe a bit too tight at first, but this barely covered my boobs!
